Nel giorno in cui ChatGPT diventa irraggiungibile dall'Italia, grazie all'intervento del Garante della Privacy (sembra che le due parti siano già al lavoro per risolvere il problema e rendere la piattaforma accessibile nuovamente nel minor tempo possibile), spero di far cosa gradita agli appassionati di Intelligenza Artificiale nell'elencare cinque siti molto utili per chi si approccia quotidianamente al lavoro multimediale.

Oltre alla famosa pagina web di OpenAI infatti, sono diverse centinaia i tools raggiungibili con pochi click basati su i vari sistemi di IA, capaci di realizzare compiti inimmaginabili soltanto fino a pochi mesi fa in perfetta autonomia (o quasi). Nei vari aggregatori disponibili sulla rete, potete sbizzarrirvi a provarne diversi, testandone le funzionalità per l'impiego quotidiano e, nel caso, abbonarvi ai loro servizi.

Tra tutti quelli analizzati, ne ho selezionati cinque, scelti tra quelli gratuiti o in versione Freemium, che secondo il mio giudizio potrebbero davvero esplodere in popolarità nei prossimi mesi, entrando prepotentemente nel lavoro dei vari professionisti del settore. Se siete pronti, cominciamo.

Si tratta di una risorsa molto intuitiva per creare file audio, letti da una voce sintetizzata, partendo da un testo scritto. Nella versione italiana sono disponibili due toni, uno maschile ed uno femminile (Fabio e Lucia), che l'utente può settare per assegnare loro un'inclinazione neutra, professionale o amichevole.

Il tool è attualmente disponibile nella versione Freemium, con la possibilità di creare un'ora di files audio gratuita al mese e di scaricarli per inserirli in blog, podcast, video o altro, mentre con i vari abbonamenti gli utenti possono aggiungere altre interessanti funzioni, quali la traduzione in altre lingue, un'assistente virtuale alla scrittura e supporto dedicato da parte del Team.

Per comprendere quali siano le sue potenzialità, vi allego la prova effettuata questa mattina, nella quale ai due speaker di lingua italiana ho fatto leggere il testo del mio post di ieri. Quanto uscito fuori è certamente perfettibile (a volte sono presenti pause ed incertezze che stonano un po'), ma se non si hanno troppe pretese, il tutto può arricchire in maniera simpatica le proprie creazioni.

SCRIBBLE DIFFUSION

Vi è mai capitato di avere un'immagine in mente e di volerla utilizzare all'interno di uno dei vostri lavori, senza tuttavia riuscire a trovare in giro per il Web nulla che vi soddisfacesse in pieno? L'alternativa in questi casi può certamente essere rappresentata da ottimi tools come Midjourney o Dall-E 2, ma anche indicare alle rispettive IA i prompt corretti, per trasformare i pensieri nelle opere desiderate, può non risultare affatto semplice.

Quanto sarebbe bello invece, se le immagini che ci frullano in testa potessimo disegnarcele da soli con pochi colpi di mouse? Impossibile? Naturalmente no, grazie a Scribble Diffusion! Con questa particolare applicazione infatti, non serve possedere le doti di Michelangelo, ma basta realizzare un semplice schizzo stilizzato della figura desiderata, lasciando proprio all'Intelligenza Artificiale il compito di tradurlo in un'immagine accattivante.

Naturalmente, più sarete accurati con il disegno, più nitida e precisa risulterà l'immagine, ma vi assicuro che non servono affatto particolari doti grafiche per ottenere risultati comunque soddisfacenti. Questa è la mia prova, il tentativo di ottenere con pochi tratti un gatto che cerca di catturare un pesce in un fiume. Il risultato è più che accettabile, e l'utilizzo al momento totalmente gratuito.

IMAGECOLORIZER

Se anche voi siete sempre rimasti affascinati davanti alle vecchie foto in bianco e nero, spingendovi spesso ad immaginare quale fossero i reali colori dell'epoca, potreste trovare particolarmente divertente la soluzione ideata da Imagecolorizer, che si propone di assegnare, in base all'interpretazione delle varie tonalità di grigio da parte dell'Intelligenza Artificiale, il colore più appropriato alle immagini monocromatiche.

L'uso del tool, nella parte di colorazione delle foto in bianco e nero, prevede alcuni crediti gratuiti al mese, mentre con un abbonamento aggiuntivo è possibile accedere a tutta una serie di interessanti strumenti di fotoritocco, oltre naturalmente ad un maggior numero di crediti d'utilizzo.

Questa è la prova effettuata con un'immagine inserita nel mio post di ieri, quella del trio di comici Les Fratellini. Davvero un bell'effetto.

E se prima abbiamo parlato di podcast, adesso è tempo di video! Non sono pochi i creators che su YouTube o altre piattaforme simili realizzano contenuti assemblando brevi filmati liberi da diritti d'autore, a corredo di un testo opportunamente scritto e recitato da una voce narrante.

Scegliere le immagini appropriate tuttavia, può risultare operazione lunga e complessa, ma non se questo compito viene demandato all'Intelligenza Artificiale di Fliki. Questa risorsa può infatti generare un video associando ad un testo, letto da una voce sintetizzata, alcuni filmati o semplici immagini scelte in autonomia in base all'attinenza con quanto narrato.

Il piano gratuito offre solo un breve utilizzo, pari a cinque minuti di video al mese, sufficienti tuttavia per rendersi conto delle potenzialità di questo strumento. Vi lascio di seguito la mia prova.

In questa carrellata di tools innovativi basati sulle IA, mancava soltanto la musica. Riffusion infatti, è un simpatico strumento che promette di tradurre in musica tutte le melodie che vi frullano nella testa: basterà semplicemente indicare gli strumenti, il ritmo e lo stile desiderato, che il cervello interno del programma tirerà fuori un qualcosa il più possibile aderente alle vostre richieste.

Potete sbizzarrirvi con le prove, oppure prendere confidenza inizialmente affidandovi al caso, per ascoltare una delle melodie già create dagli altri utenti. L'uso è gratuito.

On the day in which ChatGPT becomes unreachable from Italy, thanks to the intervention of the Garante della Privacy (it seems that the two parties are already at work to solve the problem and make the platform accessible again as soon as possible), I hope to do something pleasing to Artificial Intelligence enthusiasts by listing five very useful sites for those who approach multimedia work on a daily basis.

In addition to the famous OpenAI web page, in fact, there are several hundred tools that can be reached with just a few clicks based on the various AI systems, capable of carrying out tasks that were unimaginable only a few months ago in perfect autonomy (or almost). In the various aggregators available on the net, you can indulge in trying out several of them, testing their functionality for everyday use and, if necessary, subscribing to their services.

Of all those analysed, I have selected five, chosen from among the free ones or the Freemium version, which in my opinion could really explode in popularity in the coming months, entering powerfully into the work of the various professionals in the sector. If you're ready, let's get started.

AUDYO

It is a very intuitive resource for creating audio files, read by a synthesised voice, from a written text. In the Italian version, two tones are available, one male and one female (Fabio and Lucia), which the user can set to give them a neutral, professional or friendly slant.

The tool is currently available in the Freemium version, with the possibility of creating one hour of free audio files per month and downloading them for inclusion in blogs, podcasts, videos or other, while with the various subscriptions users can add other interesting functions, such as translation into other languages, a virtual writing assistant and dedicated support from the team.

To understand what its potential is, I enclose the test carried out this morning, in which I had the two Italian-speaking speakers read out the text of my post from yesterday. What came out is certainly perfectible (sometimes there are pauses and uncertainties that are a bit jarring), but if you don't have too many demands, it can enrich your creations in a nice way.

Have you ever had an image in your mind and wanted to use it in one of your works, but couldn't find anything around the Web that fully satisfied you? The alternative in such cases can certainly be excellent tools such as Midjourney or Dall-E 2, but even indicating the correct prompts to the respective IAs to transform thoughts into the desired works may not be simple at all.

How great would it be, however, if we could draw the images in our heads ourselves with just a few mouse clicks? Impossible? Of course not, thanks to Scribble Diffusion! In fact, with this particular application, you don't need to possess the skills of Michelangelo, but just make a simple stylised sketch of the desired figure, leaving it to the Artificial Intelligence to translate it into an attractive image.

Of course, the more accurate you are with the drawing, the sharper and more precise the image will be, but I assure you that you don't need any special graphic skills at all to obtain satisfactory results. This is my test, an attempt to get with a few strokes a cat trying to catch a fish in a river. The result is more than acceptable, and the use at the moment totally free.

IMAGECOLORIZER

If you, too, have always been fascinated by old black-and-white photos, often pushing you to imagine what the actual colours were at the time, you might find the solution devised by Imagecolorizer particularly amusing. It aims to assign the most appropriate colour to monochrome images based on the Artificial Intelligence's interpretation of the various shades of grey.

The use of the tool, in the colouring part of black-and-white photos, provides a few free credits per month, while an additional subscription gives access to a whole series of interesting photo retouching tools, as well as, of course, more usage credits.

This is the test I did with an image included in my post yesterday, that of the comedy trio Les Fratellini. Really nice effect.

And if we talked about podcasts before, now it is time for videos! There are quite a few creators on YouTube or other similar platforms who create content by assembling short, royalty-free videos, accompanied by an appropriately written text and narrated by a narrator.

Choosing the appropriate images, however, can be a long and complex operation, but not if this task is entrusted to the Artificial Intelligence of Fliki. This resource can in fact generate a video by associating a text, read out by a synthesised voice, with a number of films or simple images chosen autonomously on the basis of their relevance to what is being narrated.

The free plan offers only a short use, equal to five minutes of video per month, sufficient, however, to realise the potential of this tool. I leave you my test below.
