Arsenal Masterclass Against UCL Champions
Undoubtedly, last night was the most memorable Champions League night at the Emirates for Arsenal fans and players alike. The energy, the goals, and the sheer determination on display reminded us all why we love this club so much.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t catch the game from the start as I was at an official engagement. Throughout the evening, I kept checking the Google score notification checking updates during brief moments of pause, hoping to catch any sign of progress.
At one point, I noticed Inter had scored against Bayern and my heart skipped - Champions League drama everywhere! But for us, I was just relieved we hadn’t conceded. As the engagement wrapped up, I was finally free to make my way home.
Not long after, I got a notification, Declan Rice scored in the 50-something minute! The timing couldn’t have been better. I joined the game right when the second half was heating up.
Then came the real fireworks. Just as I was catching my breath from Rice’s goal, another celebration lit up - our second! And not long after that, a third. I was buzzing with excitement despite the patchy network on the road.
It was a fantastic 3–0 win. The boys were on fire, and it felt like the whole Emirates was bouncing. Nights like these are what Champions League dreams are made of.
But we’re not there yet. The second leg is still to come, and we must stay focused. This victory means nothing if we don’t seal the deal. Let’s keep the fire burning and go for that semi-final ticket.
Come on, Arsenal!
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the opportunity to watch it either and was amazed by the result.
You just know that Real still have a chance at the Bernabeu and 3 goals is not beyond them. But you definitely couldn’t have asked for more in the 1st leg!
what do you do for your work?
Business development. Why do you ask? And what about you?
Comeback? Maybe not against this Arsenal side. Last night proved it.
I remember one of the football writers saying they’re a journalist but I couldn’t remember who, chance the question.
I do mostly coding now, which is why I’m working on updating Steemit’s interface 😊
I didn’t watch last night either but who’s going to argue with 5-1 on aggregate! That’s no fluke.
Shame Villa could get one more against PSG. Toat should be a close semi.
Ah
I'm a runaway journalist who didn't complete training 😅.
I've also tried my hands on coding but I doubt it's for me 😂. Well done. Hopefully, the new interface could help rejuvenate things.
I agree. It's hard to dispute with such scoreline 🤝
