SLC season 26 week 3 ||Musiac art pottery||

I hope you all are good and doing well. Today I'm here again to be a part of this amazing course SLC season 26 week 3 ||Musiac art pottery organized by @sualeha. I'm glad that how easy techniques we are learning through this contest to make beautiful art at home. I made a creative mosaic pot by the help of this course and I'm feeling myself an artist.

Let's move towards the task.

1-Share any one type of Musiac art work that share in course on your choice ,must follow given method in the course ,add detail with step-by-step pictures. Include your name tag with the date at the final presentation of your work.

Mirror Musiac pottery

Materials:

1small clay pot
Small mirror pieces as needed
Colourful mirror pieces as needed
White cement
White glue
Water as needed
Mixing bowls
Matalic septulla

Making :

• Glued all small mirror pieces in random way and few colourful mirrors in patterns of line. Now let it dry and set a side for good bond.Make sure all pot should be covered with mirror pieces to give uniform and beautiful look to pot.

• Take a bowl add 1/2 cup of white cement instead of wall putty. 4 tbs of White glue added with water in separate bowl then add and make thick paste.
  Now ,the paste is ready for applying on the pot.

• After five minutes , removed extra paste on mirror,make sure instantly cleaned from cloth , then leave it for 5 hours for complete dry . When it dry I used red colour at the upper part of pot ,while remaining is white.

• It looks very beautiful. I put my make up brushes in it. And used as decorating at my dressing table.

2 . Are you liked the Musiac art pottery or not ??

Yes I really like Musiac art and really enjoyed this activity and the result turn out to be is extraordinary that made me happy and give confidence that I can do creative mosaic work. In future I'll make more mosaic art pottery for my plants when I get free time.

3 . Do you face any kind of difficulty making Musiac paste ??

No I don't face any difficulty during making Musiac art pot ,teacher sualeha explained every thing clearly, I used cement that .made my hands very dry, my skin is very sensitive that was the only difficulty that I faced. In gloves I can't do work.

4 . Share with us how you react when your pottery never turned out as your expectation.

When I put mirrors on pot I was not sure that it'll be an attractive pot , when I was applying Musiac paste, was thinking my material should not be waste may be i have to make it again (as in both previous contest I made my pot twice, evry time first one broke during demolding. When it dried I was happy to see the result. It is really a beautiful attractive pot. I think if we follow all instructions that are given by teacher everyone can get good results.
