Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Everyone
Dear friends,
How are you all?
Warm greetings to the Creative Pulse community for continuing the fabric painting challenge proposed by the admin @sualeha here. I am glad to find this place to share my own participation here.
Today I will use my veil to give a new look to my dress. Today I will complete today's third class task by placing a design on my teal veil with red and black paint using potato dice.
The materials I needed for this blog painting are,
✏️Two pieces of potato
✏️ Red and black fabric paint
✏️ Brush
✏️A small bowl
✏️A scarf
✏️A knife
✏️A pen
✏️A board
First, I drew two designs of my choice on two pieces of potato.
Then I cut the design with a knife and made it into a dice shape.
Now I mixed two drops of red fabric paint with water and applied it to the potato dice with a brush. Because my roll was a little small, I couldn't dip the dice.
In this step, I tried to make a design by rounding off one flower block and placing 4 of them.
Then I added four leaves next to the four blocks.
In the last step, I placed the flower blocks in all the flowers with a little gap.
Yes ma'am, I had to face a lot of trouble in getting wooden blocks. I saw in your post in your last class that you were going to do block printing in the third class. So I have been looking for dice since then but no one does block printing in our area. Due to that, I was unable to find it. So I tried to make a block dice by cutting potatoes with the design I wanted by watching YouTube. I completed my work with that. I had seen a video on YouTube a long time ago about making dice with potatoes and designing. When I could not get the dice, this idea came to my mind, that's why I decided to make dice by cutting potatoes.
Of course, the dress has become more beautiful and attractive after block painting. It seems to carry a meaning by designing it on a single-colored cloth. I am very happy to use such a design on my single-colored cloth.
Yes, I think I can improve and make my painting skills on clothes more attractive through the weekly course and I hope that my skills will gradually increase. I am very happy that I have learned that one-colored cloth can be designed and worn like this through your class. Otherwise, it would never have occurred to me that painting like this can make the four more beautiful and of superior quality. I will be very grateful to you for giving me such beautiful courses.
I am very happy to share this new experience with you. However, at this moment, I bid you farewell with all the love in my heart and good wishes for everyone.
I would like to invite
