SLC-S26/W3 | Musiac pottery (Mirror art/ ceramics musiac art)
Hello everyone!

Today I am here to participate in the contest of pottery challenge by @sualeha where we have to make a musaic art pottery to hold the plants. If you want to join then:
So let us start making a pot using musaic art. I have decided to make pot using the ceramic pieces on the pot after colouring it with white cement.

In the beginning just to start making the musaic art pot I have collected these items:
Clay Planter
White Cement
Hammer
Cups to get ceramic tiles
Glue to fix ceramic tiles on planter
A brush to paint white cement
These are some initial things and later on I will add other materials when I will reach there.

I did not have ceramic tiles to use so I got an idea to use the cups to make small pieces of the ceramic material to use on the planter. We know these are also made up of ceramic material.

I have used hammer to break the cup and convert it to the small pieces which can be used easily on the planter.

I got a steel bowl to mix white cement in the water. I am using the small painting brush. I have put some water and white cement in the bowl as you can see in the picture.

Here you can see that my mixture of the cement is now ready to use. It is looking smooth and homogenous so that it can cover the each part of the clay planter.

I bought a small clay planter. It is currently in its original shape without any modification. It is a ripe planter with a wide opening and small closing. It has a hole at its bottom which is useful to release extra water.

I used thick mixture of white cement. Here you can see I have applied the first coat of white cement the clay planter. Currently it is wet.

When the first coat became dry I started doing another coat to the clay planter. The first coat was thin so the second coat made it looks completely white. I did this second coat in the opposite direction to the first coat so that it could become completely white.

Here you can see I have started applying the ceramic pid es on the clay planter. I decided to apply them in the vertical alignment. I am using a glue to stick them with the clay planter.

After applying ceramic pieces on the top opening I have applied on the body of the clay planter. I have applied on the body in the mix alignment instead of done fixed alignment.

The ceramic pieces were not looking more attractive as I thought. So I have decided to paint them with different colours. So I am going to use these colours to paint these ceramic pieces.

So I started painting the ceramic pieces with different colours. I used some prominent colours such as red, green, blue, brown, and black to paint the ceramic pieces. I applied multicolours on a single piece of ceramic material.

After painting the ceramic pieces I have painted the circular opening edge of the clay planter. This brien colour on the edges is looking very beautiful.

The interior of the clay planter was still looking rough. So I used mixture of cement and painted it to give it a white look.

Here you can see the clay planter is completely decorated and now it can be used. Now the circular opening has a brown colour, exterior has white colour with multicolour ceramic pieces and white from inside. It is now looking charming.

Here you can see after a lot of efforts the decorated and customized clay planter is ready to use. It is looking very beautiful. It has increased the beauty of the flowers. Now we can use this to grow plants or to hang artificial flowers or plants. It is a beautiful piece of art.

Here I have written the tag of the challenge, username and date on the page to present it with the final piece of art.

After the final presentation here I am holding this customised and decorated clay planter with the flowers in it. It is looking awesome.
Are you liked the Musiac art pottery or not
Personally I like musaic art. At my home there were some pots decorated with the musaic art just like the first example shown by the professor. Those were very beautiful. Musaic art is an amazing thing to decorate simple things and to make them look beautiful and premium. I can see it by myself that I have converted a simple clay planter into a beautiful piece of art. So I like musaic art.
Do you face any kind of difficulty making Musiac paste ??
No, I did not face any difficulty in making the musaic paste. I made it smoothly and used it easily. It was a good experience. Actually I learnt from the professor and followed similar pattern and did it without any difficulty.
Share with us how you react when your pottery never turned out as your expectation.
It is very disappointing when we do not get expected results from any work. Same happens with me in when my pottery nevers turns out according to my expectations. I become disappointed and disheartened. All of my efforts become waste. I do not like it of my efforts become a waste.
