Hello friends, the week is fast approaching and now we are already in week2 of the engagement challenge season 25, this is one of my learning challenges, I love learning new things. Now I am able to create design on one of my old dress and I love the design so much

🖌️ 1 .Now it's time to give new look to your outfits ,you can use t -shirt,jeans, trousers, scarf, sarees,duppta ,kameez ,shalwar or any type of dress you like to paint. Trace the design by yourself or use a stencil as I taught in the course ,in detail with step-by-step pictures. Include your name tag with the date at the final presentation of your work. (6 Marks )

I decided to use my short trouser and my crop top for this painting, this two dresses have been in my wardrobe for a very long time without me using them. For the purpose of this painting I decided to use the two dresses because they are so plain without any design on it.

With the material above I was able to draw a colorful bird on my dresses.

I got a white dress to use, I place my cardboard on the floor first to prevent the painting littered all over the dress.

Then I place my dress which I will use for the painting, the dress is my old crop top which is so plan without any design on it, then I place my carbon paper and the stencil on top of the dress.

I am not a good artist so for me not to make mistakes by drawing it directly, I use pencil to trace the design and it the image surface on my dress. The sketching came out very neat as if I use pencil to draw.

Then I started first to apply the green color on the feathers then I use red color to paint the wings of the bird, the eyes and the mouth, yellow color was the last on my painting, so I use yellow for the whole body. Then I use black color to round the painting all over.

I did the same process with my short. Be hold the painting came out very beautiful

🖌️ 2 . Share with us did you faced any difficulty for finding/searching course related materials or not ?

Yes it was a difficult tasks for me in the aspect of painting, as I said before I am not a good artist and this been the the first time of color painting was another challenge for me. Before starting I had to use a rough cloth to test run before going into the manmin tasks. Another challenge was adding water to my paint, it makes my painting looks rough which I don't like, I don't know if the amount of water I added was too much.

Must add at least three colours in your painting design (1 Mark )

My painting is consist of three colors which the red, green and yellow, this three colors makes my painting looks beautiful and I am kind of loving it, though red is my best color so adding it to my painting makes me happy

🖌️ 4 . What do you think does the outfit you painted looking more beautiful after painting??

Yes of course my outfit looks more beautiful, I am happy I painted the dress, it has been abandoned for so long and now painting it makes the dress more beautiful. At least if I wear it and someone ask how I got the design, I will be able to tell the person that I did it myself.
