Hi my friends, how are you?.
I hope you are all well. I am also well. So today I came here to participate in the SLC-S25/W1 competition. This competition is very interesting and I like it very much. Also, it is a competition to create on fabric and it was a challenge for me. Because I had not created anything like this before. But today I got a challenge. That is to participate in this competition and make my participation successful. So I am getting ready to paint fabric. For that, I have assembled all the ingredients to work according to the rules of the competition. Now I just have to start painting. I think we will learn very special things for this week. Although I had painted on fabric, today I will take advantage of this opportunity and make my presentation. So thank you very much @sualeha for organizing this topic. 1 . Trace the design by yourself or use a stencil on fabric as I taught in the course in detail with step-by-step pictures. Include your name tag with the date at the final presentation of your work.

For this painting, I decided to draw a flower. In this painting, I am going to start by drawing the picture on carbon paper as per the competition rules. So first, I will show you what tools I need to do this painting.

⭕️ Step 01

• First, I took the piece of cotton fabric I wanted to paint on. Then I took a frame that I use for painting. I held the piece of cotton fabric I took in that frame like this. The piece of fabric should be well clamped.

⭕️ Step 01

• Now we will take the shape of the drawing. Since I am drawing a flower, first I placed the carbon paper on the frame that I had prepared and held the piece of cotton fabric like this and drew the design I was drawing on the carbon paper like this. I used a pencil to draw it. Then the shape I was drawing on the piece of fabric from the carbon paper is indicated like this

⭕️ Step 01

• After I drew a flower shape on the carbon paper, the shape of the flower will appear like this on the carbon paper. We have to be careful when we hold it. Otherwise, the drawing we have drawn will be distorted. So the design I drew was traced like this.

• Now I'm ready to start painting on the fabric. Yes, it's not an easy task. But I took on the challenge. So I drew the outline of the flower in pink and drew that part like this.

• Now I am ready to do a finishing touch to the painting. So I colored the top of the petals with pink color and shaded the middle with yellow color. It looked interesting. So now I feel like painting in this challenge. Now I colored its parts like this

• Finally, I colored the individual parts of the stamens and petals in the middle with white color like this. I took the following steps to color those parts. So the final part of my painting was finished very beautifully.

The total cost of my fabric painting is -1935 rupees in my country's currency which is 51.4 in STEEM. So my painting was very valuable and I was able to get painting tools for a very reasonable price. This will be very profitable for me.

3 . Did you face any difficulty during tasks or anything in purchasing materials?

No, I didn't really have any difficulty. But I was worried that I would be able to draw this picture. Because I had never painted fabric before, this was a bit of a challenge for me. But I think I overcame this challenge by using my skills. But I only know that from your comments. So today I am very grateful to be able to make such a beautiful painting.

I didn't have any difficulties in buying the materials either. Because I bought all the tools needed to do this painting from a painting supplies store in my town, I was able to buy all the necessary supplies. So, I bought these materials for a very small amount, but at first I thought that this painting would cost a lot. But everything went well as I didn't think. So today I am more than happy that I was able to do this beautiful painting without any difficulties.

4 . What do you think? Does fabric painting or any kind of creativity make you stress-free??? . Are you satisfied with it or not?

Yes, creativity and imagination will really release our stress, just like painting. Because it will be an opportunity for us to keep our mind in one place. So I am sure that in these activities, all our problems will be solved. It will release the mental stress of a person and will help us to keep our mind relaxed. So since such paintings are a big challenge for some people, they will be interested in such activities to relieve stress. Since we usually give priority to that work when we do something, there is a high chance that a person will be relieved of stress. So having such activities will be very important.
