"SLC-S25/W3| |: Block painting 🖌️🎨"
• Shocking pink fabric paint.
• Paper.
• Fabric(Chiffon).
• Piece of tomato(As wooden block alternative).
• Brush for mixing fabric paint.
First I take fabric paint and mix it with little water and then I place a simple paper at hard surface which was plain and at paper I keep my shiffon fabric for painting.
I take piece of tomato from which I removed seeds and it is using here as an alternative of wooden block.I dip tomato piece in fabric paint and see how it is looking at piece of tomato.
This is I gently place this template or tomato piece at fabric corner and keep it for 20 second and then gently drag it up.
Here's my first successful block painting result where you can see the design at chiffon dopata.
This is you can see that I am almost done with first row block paint designing by following same procedure above.
I have completed block painting design at border now and this is final look of dopata with block painting.
This is I am showing my creativity of block painting with poster containing username and current date.
This is my picture with my art (Block painting)that I experienced first time!
Yes definitely I'm not using any wooden block for painting because it was beyond my reach and I was searching for wooden block in my area from 5 days but I am unable to search it that's why I have seen others entries too where many users are failed in having wooden block so i thought to cut tomato, remove it's seeds and use it as a template in place of wooden block.
You can see in pictures that how black shiffon dopata is looking so simple before and after it is giving vibrant color so my block painting is enhancing beauty of my shiffon fabric.
I think any practical task may be improved by practicing. The more you practice, the more you will be perfect.Personally I am not participating in fabric course each week because my finals of last semester were going on and I was busy in them. This is my first entry in this fabric painting course and I am hopeful that I will improve week by week in fabric painting and in last week hopefully there will be more neatness in my work.
I want to invite some of my friends to take part in this challenge
