Making Of a Key Holder (Kitchen) From Strong Board

Hello! How are you friends? I believe you are fine as I am. Today, I have constructed a key kitchen (holder) using a strong board and I am here to show you the step-by-step process of the construction.

What is the key Kitchen
Key kitchen, also known as the key holder is an accessory or item which helps in managing or keeping many keys together to avoid them from being lost. Key kitchen can be produced from plastic, steel and leather (skin).

Materials for construction

• Strong board
• Top bond
• Acrylic colour
• Black pen
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Ruler
• Brush

Step 1
I began the construction by drawing the shape of a guitar on a strongboard using a 2B pencil.

Step 2
I neatly cut out the shape of the guitar using a paper cutter.

Step 3
I duplicated the shape of the guitar into three pieces by drawing and then cutting them.

Step 4
I gummed the three pieces of the guitar shape together using a top bond and made a small hole where I will hang the chain.

Step 5
I coloured the key chain brown with a touch of deep yellow. I got the brow colour by mixing yellow, red and blue acrylic colour.

Step 6
I drew a circle and a rectangular shape on the key chain using a black acrylic colour. The circle serves as the sound hole while the rectangular shape serves as the bridge. The sound hole and the bridge are drawn on both sides of the key kitchen.

Step 7
I drew five lines on the key chain to serve as the strings and I also drew two fret bars using a black pen. I also painted the width of the key chain using a black acrylic colour. The five strings are also drawn on both sides of the keyboard.

Step 8
I hung the chain on the guitar shape to form my key kitchen or key holder.
