Travel Rules To Look Out For As we Travel For The Holidays.
Many people may be traveling either to the villages or outside the country they stay in to spend time with family and see their parents and other relatives they have not been able to see throughout the year. Others maybe even be traveling for vacations. Here are some rules I think should be followed for all to travel safely and enjoy the holidays.
Rule number.
If you are traveling abroad please make sure you know which season they are in for the country you are traveling to. You do not want to reach your destination only to find it is winter and you packed only light weather clothes. Such preparation helps you to save because you do not have to spend on things you had not planned for. It also helps you start off the holidays more joyously as you have everything you need.
Rule number 2.
For those using road transport, it is okay to drink and be merry but please do not drive under the influence of alcohol. Since most people are traveling in groups just get that one person who is sober to be the one to drive.
We should also avoid overtaking as the traffic is heavy and you do not want to take any chances of putting yourself or your family in danger. Just be patient as even though you reach late what matters is that you reach safely. To beat the traffic one can start of their journey early morning and that will help them to reach early.
Rule number three.
Since there is a new variant of COVID let us ensure that we keep safe. Put on our masks, sanitize our hands, avoid crowded places and practice any other SOPs as the last we want is not to be able to enjoy the holidays as they may be spent nursing sickness.
My last rule is to keep merry as you will be spreading cheer and you may easily make some new friends. If you can afford to, surprise someone who least expects it with gifts. Find ways to spread cheer as many people have lost their loved ones and this season maybe very triggering as people may remember those they lost.
