"Life After School?"

PREAMBLE

Hello everyone
Most times, students especially those in higher institution loses themselves pondering on this particular question " how is my life after school going to be"? As a student, having this thought which is very common among adolescence students can make you destabilized seeing yourself as being useless or maybe not achieving anything in life.

INTRODUCTION

The reason why student are usually disturbed with this kind of question may be due to family background being that their family's hope is in their hands, may be due to their goals, their aims, their life's objectives and lots of factors. So, when they look back realising that there is nobody around to pick them if they fall, they need to stand to their ground mingle with life and see what will come out of it because waiting for a white collar job in a country like ours is a total waste of time.
The above reasons is why most students drop out of school, do sir hustles, even to the point of giving education just 20%of their times to face life.

The above is based on life's experience, but let's get to know more as I commemorate the questions accompanying the contest;

How will your life after school be or has been?

This is a very simple question though very difficult to answer 😹
Well, my after school has not been because Ina still obtaining schooling. Based on the experience, life after school is not funny at all. I have seen so many graduates feeling useless without achievements, taking CVs' back and forth to offices and organisations just to cater for a job but yet nothing to prove. To the graduate, it is believed that after school, he or she needs to retire his or her parents, catering for them and their necessary needs, but one they are not able to accomplish that, they feel useless and worthless. Having all of this in mind and lots more bombards their minds with so many thought.
In my end, life after school is not figured out yet. I hope goes as planned because I am not ready to go into any emotional trauma for any reason. I know it won't be that easy because it is popularly said that "nothing good comes easy", but that not withstanding, I will make sure I strive with all my mights to make sure I crack the nut getting to the top of Independence, greatness and self actualization.

Do you think Education is a scam? Choose between yes, no, yes and no and explain

@nsijoro, this is a very funny question, why will you ask someone to choose "yes and no". Well, I choose yes and no with my reasons.
First, is education a scam? Answer is "yes" because if we want to look at it from a brighter side, education only favours very few persons of which both intelligence and bravery is underrated. Being intelligent or maybe graduating with a good result does not guarantee your financial stability through education. What really matters is 'who you know' and not 'what you know'. The world is so diverse to a point where your certificate does not really count but connections and not just the quantity but the quality. So with the above, it is now in the individual's place to figure out what to do with his or her life after school which there exist multiple choice options in the aspect of E-jobs like the freelancing and other soft skills
or venturing into a physical business of your own becoming a entrepreneur.

Second, is education a scam? Answer is "no" in that education offers valuable and life's changing opportunities, skills, knowledge and personal growth. Education also serves as a crucial origin or foundation for personal and professional growth.

What do you think one should do after obtaining a degree without a job? business, learn a soft skills. Share with us these skills and businesses?

In my perspective, staying idle without doing anything after obtaining a degree is a very useless decision to make in this modern world. The world is progressively undergoing innovations with web 3 space jobs, technology, software development, other online and offline jobs and businesses. So it is now in your place as the victim to try and fit in yourself at where you feel you're talented in.

Will you blame the government for not getting employed as a graduate?

I will not really blame the government for my unemployment, but to some extent I will blame them. It is in the government's place to impact employment opportunities through their policies and support schemes and if they fail in that aspect then I will blame them. But then it is also in the individual's place to stand up and look for other non-governmental organisations for employment.

Do you think steemit can reduce the number of unemployed graduates in your country, how?

Without much although, it is very clear that steemit can reduce the number of unemployed graduates in my country with just consistency and hardwork. Steemit which is a social media block chain based platform can in various ways reduce the level of u employment thereby creating an avenue for income in so many ways like:

1. Users monitises their contents, creative writings, creativity and skills through steemit.
2. Steemit at a social media encompasses networking and collaborations.
3. Steemit platform serves as an avenue for entrepreneurs and other business owners to promote and also advertise their goods and services
4. It create an avenue for people to make money through their creativities

As a student, if you had an opportunity to invest, what area do you think you should invest in?

I know most people will take crypto markets without even considering the risks and expertise it requires to make profit.
Well, in my care I will rather choose to invest in a physical business that I know more about because comparing the business to crypto or web 3 space, I will be able to have 100% control of my assets and take my profits as and when I want to. My family can even inherit my business from me in times to come without even undergoing training just following the necessary steps than invest in crypto which can turn to a dump overnight

CONCLUSION

At least with those questions and answers, awareness is created and ignorance is reduced to it's lowest. I will suggest that individuals should rise up and make heir while the sun shines to avoid being left out in the world.
