Reflection on facing life's challenges like a mango
Life, often without realizing it, holds parables that are so close to our daily lives. I thought of a simple analogy, like a mango fruit. When it is unripe, no one is interested in picking it, plucking it, let alone throwing it with wood.
However, when it becomes ripe, yellow, and ripe, that's when the challenge comes. Every eye that sees it seems to have the desire to knock it down with a wooden stick.
Isn't this a reflection of the reality of human life? When a person has not yet reached a level, has not yet had a prominent achievement, he seems to be invisible, undisturbed.
However, once he reaches the pinnacle of success, achieving great achievements, suddenly the eyes of others then turn into envious stares, and hands begin to stretch out to knock him down.
I feel strongly about how this analogy resonates with personal experience. When someone reaches the pinnacle of success, of achievement, they become an easy target for envy. Others try in various ways to get rid of them.
However, in the midst of this whirlwind of challenges, I try to remember a valuable lesson from a ripe mango. When it is thrown and falls, what does it give? Not resistance, not anger, but sweetness, flavor, deliciousness - an unexpected pleasure from an "attack".
This taught me to keep doing good, to give benefits, even when facing injustice. Just as a mango remains sweet even when wounded, we too should spread kindness without being affected by mistreatment.
It's true, when you're at the top, the wind is stronger. I agree with the view that let the results of hard work do the talking. Focus on the goal, ignore the discordant voices that need not be responded to.
However, on this journey, I also learned from another analogy, about limes. Imagine a drop of lime juice falling on your tongue. The sourness is so strong that even just imagining it makes our saliva react.
Negative comments, even if they are just words, have a similar power. If we focus too much on them and "swallow" them, the "sour" taste will continue to linger and be self-defeating.
I choose not to drown in the sea of negative comments, just as we can imagine the sour taste without actually tasting it, we can also be affected by bad comments just by thinking about them.
Instead, I choose to focus on the positive, on the goals I have set. Let others judge, let God be the witness and the rewarder of everything.
This is not the only time I have experienced a similar incident, every time a storm comes I try to remain patient, considering it as a test and trial. I believe, behind every difficulty, there is a hidden wisdom.
I have made many contributions, especially on the Steem platform. Building a reputation, organizing learning challenges, participating in various competitions, and consistently helping friends who need help. Until now, I am grateful to see many of them grow and become active users with the best reputation.
In fact, I have also achieved several achievements and awards, such as being the organizer of the Steemit Learning Challenge, the Best Teacher of 2024 and being selected as one of the Steem Atlas Ambassadors.
All of this is thanks to the efforts, hard work, support of friends and prayers from those closest to me. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire Steemit team for their support of my growth.
In the midst of a journey full of twists and turns, I realized that we cannot control the behavior of others. However, we do have full control over our response.
As the wise saying goes, "The dog barks, the caravan passes." Leave them to their malice, while we keep moving forward, focusing on our goals and giving our best.
I choose to pray for them, that they will be given the awareness to achieve success in a good way, and that Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala will guide them.
I believe that by sticking to the good and focusing on the goal, we will be able to face all challenges. Let time and results speak for themselves.
Thus this article, hopefully useful and inspiring all who read it. Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to comment.
