Hello everyone
After meeting at 8:50am I then took my breakfast. By 10:00am we started Sunday worship Programme entitled
Powerful By Faith
taken from the account of Jude 3. The convention was faith strengthening and upbringing.
Please permit me to mention one of the most interesting features of our convention on that day, a Drama entitled
Daniel, A Lifetime of Faith Part 1
The drama shows how Daniel and his companions face a test of faith in the hand of king Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon. When Daniel and his companions were assigned the kings delicacies, they resolved never to defile themselves with the king’s delicacies and ask for favor to be tested with vegetables for ten days, at the end of ten days their appearance was much better than those eating the kings food. And God gave them knowledge, insight and wisdom, Daniel was given understanding in all sorts of visions and dreams.
In the Kings second year, the king had a dream and was afraid, so he summons his wise men to tell his dream, they replied that no man can tell the dream, the king got very angry and order to destroy all the wise men in Babylon including Daniel and his companions, so Daniel asked the king to give him time to tell the interpretation of the dream and was granted. Daniel and his companions prayed, and God revealed the secret to Daniel in a vision.
Daniel praised God and give credit to the God of heaven in front of the king, he told and interpreted the dream to the king. Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged that Daniel's God is a revealer of secrets. They were appointed over the administration of the province of Babylon, and Daniel served in the king’s court. However, Daniel's test of faith did not end there but the lesson I learn is that Daniel hated what God hated and choose to maintain his faith and confidence in God despite challenges. He also gave credit God in all his endeavors. What a big lesson.
Read in details, Daniel chapters 1 and 2 then watch out how Daniel’s faith was tested again in part two. Saturday afternoon convention ended by 2pm.
It is often said, all work without play, I changed up and left to God’s will Akpabio International Stadium here in Uyo.
I was there by 3:30pm, the footballers were there ready, dignitaries were coming in, after the arrival of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, the match started at about 4:00pm between Akwa United and Mountain of Fire who came in Lagos. The match ended with 5 goals against Mountain of Fire with 2 goals.

Finally, Akwa United became qualified as Champion for Nigeria Professional Football League, a trophy was given to Akwa United by His Excellency, please pardon me here am just expressing interest in football but not a footballer.
Yes I must say Sunday August 1, 2021 was fulfilling and exciting. I appreciate @ngoenyi and @eliany for your encouragement.
