It's been a decade and forever
Listen! did you hear it?
My hands on the strings
Shattering blessed quietness
Unharmonious as it has always been
Yesterday is lost
But my lifetime breathes of regrets
Perhaps, maybes, should-haves
They say worry is a waste
But what can a melancholic soul do?
The windows of my heart has been left ajar
For so long
In faith and trust
I thought i saw the signs
Read the signs
The night was still
Dark eyes searching into the murk
Evil creeping in
Dwelling without concurrence
It seemed to be landlord of nightfall
Beginning of doom was marked
I fell apart
Little Yomi to the winds
Felt like a dream come true
Anguish let out a mock
Pleasures isn't worth it afterall
Just a moment of insaneness and its all gone
If only
A little patience
Time would heal all sores
Now i'm down on my knees
Without words proceeding
Letters of my pleas suffocating in my chest
They seem to choke out my existence, in protest
So i guess they will be my escort to the grave
Write me a letter to Yomi
Tell her my heart aches
Tell her i do not wish for peace in death
But a place of unrest
Write a letter to Yomi !
Commentary:
This literary piece sojourns deep into the unproductive life of a man who lived waywardly and was not involved in the life of his daughter...
Much later at the brink of his life, he is in regrets, and flashes back at unsubstantial memoir but realizes it is too late to make amends.
He wishes himself torture as punishment.
