Now Is The Time to Launch . Encouragement From a Procrastinator.

I am a procrastinator.

Sometimes the trash doesn't get out of the house.

Sometimes we eat dinner really late.

Sometimes I have to wash dishes the next day (to my mom's super disgust).

It took me 38 years to figure out how to keep my hamper NOT full.

Homework assignments often got started "just in time" or maybe with just not enough time, while I was in school.

And as a adult, projects seem to not really get off the ground.

But I have been building projects in my head, and writing stuff down on google docs for a while, and waiting for the perfect time to launch

First I stopped because I had to move unexpectedly and needed a "real" job, in order to cover my mortgage.

Who can invest in new projects when they are taking care of a bunch of kids AND working?

The I stopped because I was (again unexpectedly pregnant) and didn't want to start something I couldn't finish.

It is work to make a baby, and I have all those dr. appts, and then then project will be on hold cause I have a newborn

Then I got over the fact that I was pregnant and was waiting for some money to come in so I could "do things right"

It's Mercury Retrograde, the time is not right, I "can't"

Then I got the courage and was going to start, but the STEEM Blockchain drama started.

What is going to happen to the blockchain, I can't do it right now, there is too much uncertainty!

Then I needed more planning.

But NOW is the time

The blockchain needs our new projects. Eyes are on us, it is a good time to show that we are more than simple bloggers, and bullies who "hack" accounts, and crypto investors. And, we need to learn that projects don't have to be 100% on the blockchain, just partly on the blockchain.

Decentralization right?

That means we use the blockchain, and traditional social media, and email lists, and tools that other online businesses use.

Just because we use the blockchain does not mean we have to rely solely on it.

What if the blockchain forks?

The stronger your project is, the more likely it is to survive a fork.

We don't need one currency or 100, we need lots and lots of currencies. So, if you have an idea, launch it, get started, try it out, see where it takes you. Launch your project, start your token, find its value.

So the blockchain tanks and it takes your project down with it

Well, maybe I am using my American Privilege but, we are semi quarantined, our food stores are stocked, we have plenty of toilet paper, we aren't going anywhere, we aren't spending any extra money, so we have the time.

Seems like a great time to invest.

Now is the time to build. GET TO IT!
