Hello professor @sapwood I'm @bossj23 and I'm implicitly excited to offer this beginners course on steem and tron*. These terminologies are intrinsic because they form the backbone of steemit. Without steem and tron, there's no steemit social Media platform. This is my homework submission post for lecture task 1.

What is POB? What does the term curation mean to you in steem block chain? What are the benefits of building SP? How do you explain self-vote as a good or bad social behaviour and why? I'll start by explaining in a jiffy what proof-of- brain is.

What is POB?

The formation of SP, reward pool and wisdom of people forms POB. It is simply the distribution of curation rewards on Steem based on the worth of author's content in the steemit platform which serves as a proof of brain to the author. It is more about community consensus over contents value created by authors. Proof of brainPOB, is a token system of rewarding authors of good and quality content on the steemit platform. and by my saying of quality content, it is one free from piagiarism and one that is structured and organised in a way that attract readers. . Steemit uses POB as an index for rewards. Contents created by users which are original and piagiarism free are rewarded by distributing upvoted or tokens. The more SP due to the combination, the more power to upvote users content.

What does Curation mean to you in steem Blockchain

Curation means a lot to means cement block chain. Curation is carried out by Curators and these curators are people who curates content written in this platform by resteeming and upvoting depending on the quality of the post. Curation involves activities carried out on the steemit block chain which includes resteeming of good contents, checking authenticity of posts, appraising contents to see how much it is worth to the platform and also reading these post before doing the latter. Curation is also about reading a post and judging it depending on its content, checking if it is piagiarism free, harmful or original. Curators that carry out these activities gets rewarded with steam power and this content creators get rewarded too either through 50% SBD/ 50% SP or the likes. Both curators and authors are rewarded.

What are the benefits of building SP?

SP[Steem power] is a measure of power or how much influence a user have in the steemit platform and how he can influence post. The more the steem power, the more influence such person have during upvotes and the more the user can influence a person's value and also comments. Steem power is not like liquid steem. Steem power show status of the user and building one's steem power is encouraged in the platform. There are a lot of benefits building one's Steem power. These benefits are;

• It allows you earn more creation rewards
• It improves your tron rewards and improves SP which increases voting power.
• It also improves one's reputation and can enable such a person do some homework post by professors in crypto Academy. The more SP, the more Curation rewards we have because it gives us the possibility of building a community. When someone wants to power down, the shutdown lasts for four weeks.

How do you explain self-vote as a good or bad social behaviour and why?

Firstly, self-vote is an act of voting for oneself. It means an author or content creator voting or curating his or her post. In summary, it involves the content creator also carrying out the work of a curator to get both curator rewards and authors reward. In the steemit block chain, it is frowned at and it is considered a bad practice which doesn't promote good content. It is a bad social behaviour because it portrays greediness on the part of the content creator as he or she wants both rewards.

What are the different steemit tokens you earn by socializing in steem Blockchain?

there are four intrinsic tokens in cement block chain which are Steem, steem power, SBD and Tron

• Steem: is a native Tekken in steam it it is usually gotten from post's payout. It is used for trading purposes and can be converted to steem powered through powering up. It is referred to as traceable tokens that can be transferred anytime at anywhere.

• Steempower: is steem that is vested and can't be withdrawn immediately. Steempower as I said on the onset is the measure of power and influence one has on a post and you can earn higher curation rewards by powering up.

• SBD: is a stable-value money token which can be traded with steem and transferred from one users account to another. SBD can be obtained when post pays out. It is usually set at 50%/50% for post. It is also gotten from curation by upvoting on another person's post.

• Tron: is a non the cement block chain when post payouts. For every ratio of 1SP, you get one Tron.

Conclusion

It is very very vital to know these tokens as regards steemit. Steemit is a very good and creative platform because it rewards people when they make quality post. Powering up is very essential and encouraged as you'll earn more curation rewards. I also saw that self-vote is a bad social behaviour and it's frowned at in the steemit blockchain. So make the best use of your time in Steemit platform having known the basis.
