Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 17/7/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

July 2025- Hello supporters of Steem, there was a rare 3 day occurrence where I missed out on posting these price updates. The reason for missing those days is because I was very unwell, I'm still continuing with hopefully recovering. It's not been easy, it looks like I may have developed some kind of liver or kidney infection. It's been a scary few days, there still seems to be a bit of a back and forth thing going on with this infection. For example 3 days ago I was frustrated to feel worse again, but like I suspected today and yesterday I feel slightly better. While I do feel a little better it's not by much and I was already further ahead with my recovery than I am now. I have noticed that if I'm to experience symptoms I normally seem to get them in the morning and usually by the middle of the day it mostly all goes away. But this is no longer the case lately, sure this step back could of been due to the lack of sleep but I don't think it's just that. I did mention I was worried that when the heat returned while I'm still unwell that it could set me back again. Thankfully the past few days it's been cooler. But I do worry for the cats too, they have not been the same since the first heat wave. I think there is the possibility that we might lose another one or even a few if this heat returns. While I would like of course to get a air conditioner for myself, having one would also benefit our vulnerable cats which would honestly take priority. So if anybody fancies to drop any spare extra or large upvotes to help us and them get there quicker that would be great. However this morning it was again relatively cloudy which I suspected would make for a cooler day. But still it can get very muggy sometimes in the afternoon if outside, inside the cats are ok on those days. This morning I was working with my least favourite superior, I expected it to be her since she as been off sick or on holiday for a while. I can't tell which, she tells me she was unwell while others have told me she's been on holiday. Maybe it's both I don't know. I arrived before the guy who helps us with task 2, I was already dreading that there might be a ton of extra work. I start with task1 which was exactly the same amount as yesterday, which is honestly it's kind of weird how that happens. There was a little more added while I worked, this was maybe just slightly less than yesterday. Task2 always seems to be the saviour lately, being very minimal and thankfully today it was the same. Task3 I was worried about because I skipped it yesterday because of all the annoying extra work left yet again. Before leaving work today I was not able to fully complete task3 because of course like always this superior likes to get me doing things that the others in charge don't. Firstly she wanted me to sort out some errors from yesterday this was the extra work I done. Not only does this not happen but in the end there was only 1 error, which she could of easily sorted herself without wasting my time. Next she hunted for me to test the fire alarms, the other superiors don't seem to need me for this except her. Then she wanted me to reset the heating system and sort out some work that was not completed from yesterday on my old floor. While I didn't mind working on my old floor I still had task3 to finish and the weekly tasks. I'm thinking like how is this even humanly possible...🤷‍♂️ I mentioned yesterday on here how I believed her when she said she has bronchitis, and I still do, but have to admit it was a little strange to see her running about sometimes, and the fact that she didn't cough a single time today. Looking at the task sheet for this week it looks a mess again, I don't really understand it. Looks like each day as like 4 tasks but I think they are 2, it honestly needs to be more clear. Again if they expect all this nonsense done with the time that we have they are clearly dreaming. When I got out of work I went the slightly longer way home which I shouldn't of done because I was suppose to go do some price checks at a store. When I got home I tried to get some rest, it was a little difficult and I don't think I got much. I spend the day cleaning things around the house slowly and then later to get rid of some rubbish and possibly meet with my friends for food. But I'm glad this didn't happen as being out due to being unwell and the heat I was having some difficulties breathing. The fact remains this hasn't gone away yet, and that's the tricky part, it lingers which means it could at any point start over again 💀 which is scary. Since the powder didn't fully work I should be getting my next set of medication soon. So I continued to take things easy for now in hopes of recovering, fingers crossed 🤞🙏.
