Contest: The benefits: of pepper

Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to write for this contest that is running by @lirvic, here is the link if you are also interested:
I had tasted black pepper first time when I was a child, I remember my mother coked a chicken soup and she and my father added black pepper in it. Of course, as any child I wanted to copy that and added some, I believe it was too much and at the end I was not able to finish my soup and my father eaten it for me. Since then I love the taste of pepper in cooking different dishes. For example, all my soups will have pepper but also when I prepare minced meat I always add it together with salt. Also when I decide to do something with curry I add turmeric and pepper and that make the antioxidant effect even stronger.
There are few benefits like it triggers your immune system, that is when you are ill you should add it in your soup for example. Like I mentioned before together with turmeric it has a strong power to improve our immune system but also had anti-inflammatory effect. There are also Vitamins A and C that are in pepper.
It is indeed easy to get pepper in supermarkets, often as the whole or in power, I like both version and usually we always have pepper, I have red and black they are both great for different types. The black pepper 50 g is £2,85 and that is 13,30 Steem.

When I buy black pepper it is already in a small bottle of 50g, that is already sealed and you can not open the lid, unfortunately when it is empty then you need to dispose the bottle too.
Like I mentioned before I usually add in soups but only after it is cooked because then pepper still has its positive strength and it is not destroyed by high temperature. Another my favourite quick dish is avocado, some lemon juice with salt and pepper that is absolutely delicious and taste light food.
