I hope you all are good and doing well. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing contest "SLC26-W2// "Chocolate Chip Cookies" organized by @mvchacin . First of all I would like to thank @mvchin for organising this wonderful course. I really enjoyed the course and made delicious chocolate chip cookies.
Let's move towards the task
1. Make chocolate chip cookies. You can make the recipe presented in this class or another recipe. Using chocolate chips or chunks is mandatory, but you can vary the quantities. (Detail the preparation steps.) Include your name tag and date in the final recipe presentation. (7 points)
For today's task I'm following exactly the same recipe that is given in lecture.
Lets start today's recipe
Ingredients:

115 grams of butter |
130 grams of white sugar |
100 grams of brown sugar |
210 grams of all-purpose wheat flour. |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder. |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon |
100 grams of chocolate chips (chocolate pieces) |
Making:
- First mix all dry ingredients flour,baking powder, cinnamon powder in a bowl well.
- Add butter, sugar, brown sugar in a separate bowl and mixed it well until it get creamy. You can use hand beater or electric beater.
- Add 1 egg in this mixture and beat it well.
- Add flour in two halves in this mixture. Add half muxted it well then add remaining half.
- When all ingredients integrated and kneed it like a dough then add chocolate chips in it and wrap it with ciling film and keep it in Refrigerator for 2hours.
- After 2 hrs ,make equal sizes of balls from dough and press it and shape like biscuits. Bake these cookies in Prehat oven at 160 °C for 12 minutes.
- Delicious chocolate chip cookies are ready to enjoy.
2.- Chocolate is the star ingredient in this recipe. What are your favorite types and brands of chocolate? (1 point)
Chocolate is star ingredient in many recipes in my family. My kids love chocolate flavour drinks , cookies, cakes and desserts alot. I love chocolate too.I'm here talking about my family choice so I use chocolate flavour in my foods.
If we talk about particular brand of chocolate i choose different brands in different things like if we want chocolate bars we choose kit kat and Cadbury, for chocolate powder I used only Cadbury chocolate powder, for cooking chocolate I used swiss chocolate. I love chocolate cakes of ***delazia bakery and kabab jee bakers*** and I like ice-cream of chocolate flavour of most of the brand.
3.- Benefits of using brown sugar? (1 point)
Brown sugar has high amount of molasses which contains some traces of minerals like calcium, potassium, iron,also has some antioxidants which help in heart healh and help in digestion. But it should be consumed in less amount due to its impact on high sugar level in blood. It has distinct flavour that enhance cookies and cakes specially if we are making chocolate or coffee cakes or cookies.
4.- Did the final result of your cookies meet your expectations? (1 point)
The final result of my cookies meet my expectations but its colour was darker then the colour of cookies that teacher made. Even when i add brown sugar and need the dough the colour of my dough is different from the dough that made by teacher. May be teacher didn't added brown sugar or added in less quantity as given in course recipe. Except colour all things were perfect its taste, its texture, brown sugar give it unique taste. I'm quite satisfied with my cookies.
