The benefits of salt
Hello Everyone. I am @shiftitamanna
From #Bangladesh
Greeting my dear friends. Welcome to a new contest on the topic of salt. One of our Steemian friends @lirvic has organized a new contest among us, which I am very interested in participating in because the topics of the contest are quite creative. I am now presenting my post for this new contest on the topic of salt.
In my daily diet, I eat salt made from sea salt water. Basically, there are two types of these salts. One part of the salt made from salt water is used for cooking and the other part is used to mix with other foods. In this case, there is a difference in salt because the grains of salt that we use for cooking are coarse and the salts that we eat raw or mix with rice or other foods are comparatively fine. In this case, I eat salt made from sea salt water in my daily diet.
I am aware of several benefits of eating salt because I have read a lot about it in books.
Eating a certain amount of salt keeps the brain active. Because the sodium in salt controls the flow of water in the body which helps the nervous system to function properly.
Eating salt regularly helps us lose excess weight in our body.
- Salt also plays an important role in controlling high blood pressure. People who have high blood pressure can eat a certain amount of salt during meals because salt helps to lower high blood pressure.
Yes, it is very easy to find salt in supermarkets in our country. Moreover, all these food salts can be found in general grocery stores because without salt, cooking food does not taste good. However, the market price of salt in our country is a little higher than before. The price of salt per kg in our Bangladeshi supermarket is 30-50 BDT / 1.6-2.7 Steem.
I know some steps in preserving salt and one of them is packaging salt. Salt can also be preserved in more ways. Salt is made from sodium chloride, which is the smallest molecule of salt. And when it comes into contact with water vapor in the air, it melts and takes the form of water. That is why salt must be stored in a dry place and the right temperature must be ensured.
Many times it is seen that the salt we eat during the rainy season has turned into water because during the rainy season, there is more water vapor in the air, which mixes with the salt molecules and turns into water. In this case, the most important thing is to store salt in a dry place and keep it at a certain temperature.
Just as salt enhances the taste of food, excessive use of salt spoils the quality of food and makes it tasteless. In this case, one must be careful while cooking food or adding salt to other foods. In this case, when I cook, after adding salt to cooked curries or other vegetables, I check the food by putting it in my mouth and then making sure that the salt level in the food is right. Basically, we call this tasting, through which we can confirm the salt content of the food.
