Hello my steemit friends i hope you are doing well and enjoying life. Today i am excited to join the contest about “My Taste for: The Bread.” Bread is something many of us eat every day. There are many types of bread and each one has its own taste and texture. In this post i will share my personal likes and dislikes about bread. I hope you enjoy reading it!

Do you prefer savory or sweet breads?

To be honest i like savory breads more than sweet ones. Savory breads have spices herbs cheese or even vegetables in them and i enjoy the taste. When i eat savory bread it feels like I am eating something more filling and delicious. Sweet breads are okay but i feel like they are better with tea or at breakfast only. Savory breads can be eaten anytime breakfast lunch or dinner. For example i really like garlic bread naan or cheese-filled bread. The smells of garlic or herbs makes me hungry and the soft textures with a little crisp is perfects. I don’t really enjoy breads with a lots of sugar or fruits inside likes raisin bread. Its toos sweets for my tastes.

Do you prefer soft and fluffy breads or crispy with a hard crust?

I always preferred soft and fluffy breads. It is easy to chews and feels light in the mouth. Soft breads is perfects for making sandwiches or eatings with curry. It melts in the mouth and gives a fresh feeling. I loves when breads is warm and softs just out of the ovens. It makes me feels comforted and happys. Crispy bread with a hard crusted is not my favorite. Sometimes it is too hard and hurts my teeth. I don’t like chewing too much. Some people enjoy the crunchy sound and taste but i feel it is better for soups or dips only.

Is there any type of bread you don't like?

Yes i don’t like bread that is very sour or full of too many seeds. For example sourdough bread is not tasty to me because it has a strange sour flavor. I also don’t like very dry bread that has no softness left. Some diet breads are very dry and taste like cardboard. I feel like food should bring joy and if the bread is too healthy but not tasty i don’t want it. Also as i said before i don’t enjoy sweet breads with fruits like raisins or cherries. The taste feels odd especially when you eat it with salty things.

Do you have a favorite bakery to buy bread from? What's the estimated price of savory bread?

Yes there is a small bakerys near my house that i really loved. The names of the bakerys is “Bismillah Bakers.” They makes fresh bread every morning and the smells is amazing. Their savory bread is very soft and tasty. I always go there with my brother to buy bread and sometimes cake too. The estimated price of savory bread there is around 150 to 200 rupees depending on the size and ingredients. Cheese bread or garlic bread is a little more expensive than plain bread. But the qualitys is very good so it is worth the prices. I feels lucky to have such a nice bakery closed to my home.

If you were given a savory bread to fill what ingredients would you add and what drink would you serve it with?

If I had the chance to fill savory bread i would make a delicious sandwich. First i would choose soft bread like a bun or roll. I would fill it with grilled chicken pieces mayonnaise lettuce cucumber and cheese. Then i would add a littles black peppers and chili flakes for extra flavored. It would be like a homemade chicken sandwich. To drinkt with it i would served cold lemonade or a glass of mango juice especially in the summer. If it’s winter then i would prefer a hot cup of tea. The combinations of a warm sandwich and teas is just perfect.

I can says that bread is a simples but importants part of our meals. I enjoy soft and savory bread the most. I don’t likes hard crust or sweet fruit bread much. Everyone has differents tastes and thats what makes foods interesting. I hope you liked reading about my taste for bread. I would love to hear about yours too.
