Hello my steemit friends I hope you are all doing well. Today i am very happy to take part in this fun and tasty contest about corn flakes. Corn flakes are a simple and quick food that many people enjoy and i am one of them! In this post i will share how i like to eat corn flakes when i eat them which brand i prefer and even how i would create my own version if i got the chance. So lets begin!

How often do you eat cornflakes and at what time of day do you prefer them whether for breakfast a snack or dinner?

I usually eats corn flakes three to four times a weeks. Most of the time i eat them in the morning for breakfast. They are light easy to prepare and fill my stomach without making me feel heavy. Sometimes when i do not feel like eating roti or eggs in the morning i just pour some corn flakes into a bowl add some milk and eat happily. I also enjoy eating corn flakes as a snack in the evening especially when i feel a bit hungry but do not want to eat something oily or fried. Its a healthy option and gives me energy.

Do you like your cornflakes crunchy or smooth? Please describe how you eat them: plain, with milk, fruit, or some other topping?

I like my corn flakes crunchy! When they are too soft or soggy in the milk i don’t enjoy them much. I always pour the milk just before eating so they stay crispy. I usually eat them with cold milk and sometimes i add a little honey or sugar for a sweet taste. Also i love to add slices of banana or apple in my corn flakes. It gives a fresh and fruity flavors sometimes i also sprinkles a few nuts like almonds or walnuts. It becomes a complete and healthy bowl for me!

What is your favorite brand of corn flakes that you usually buy?

My favorites brand is Kelloggs Corn Flakes. They are crispy fresh and have the best taste. I have tried other local brands too but Kellogg’s always feels better. The packing is also neat and keeps the flakes fresh for a long time. I always try to buy this brand when i go shopping with my mother or brother.

¿Have you ever tried a corn flakes that you didn't like?

Yes once i tried a local brand that i bought from a small store near my home. It was cheaper than Kellogg’s but the taste was not good. The flakes were soft and had a strange smell. After eating two spoons i stopped and threw the rest. Since then i always try to check the brand before buying.

If you were given the opportunity to create your own corn flakes, how would you describe them: flavor, texture, and other important aspects?

If i had the chanced to make my own corn flakes i would creates a flavor that is both sweet and healthy. I would add a little honey tastes to the flakes so peoples do not need to add sugars. I would also make sure the flakes stay crunchy for a long times even in milk. I would pack them with small pieces of dried fruits like strawberries bananas and raisins. The texture would be light and crispy. I would make sure they don’t have too much oil or chemicals. The box design would be colorful maybe with a smiling cartoon corn to attract children and adults too. I would also write healthy tips on the box to encourage people to eat better.

Corn flakes are a very special part of my food routine. They are easy quick and tasty. I enjoy them with cold milk and fruits and i prefer them to be crunchy.
