I am @saifuddinmahmud from Bangladesh. I am excited to join the steemit learning challenge. The challenge name is Russian Salad. The challenge organised by honorable @dasudi. I am going to join. I hope everyone will like my post.

We include salads in our daily meal routine. We eat different types of salads. Today I will make Russian salad. I hope everyone likes it.

All the ingredients I need to make the salad

Peas30 grams
Coriander leaves1 cup
Mayonnaise3 tablespoons
Mustard1 tablespoon
Saltas needed

Now i am sharing how to make this salad step by step.

Step-01

Take a pot of water and put it on the stove. Boil the carrots in the water. Boil the potatoes in the same water.Be careful not to overcook the carrots and potatoes. The carrots and potatoes will be soft but should remain firm.

Step-02

Take a pot. Fill the pot with water and place it on the stove. Boil 1 egg. Boil the egg for 10-15 minutes until the egg white and yolk are hard.

Step-03

The potatoes and carrots are cooked. Now I will take them off the stove. I will wash them in clean water and then cut them into small pieces. I cut the potatoes into small pieces.

Step-04

Then, cut the carrots into small pieces. Cut them slowly and carefully so that they don't get crushed by the pressure of your hands.

Step-05

After the eggs are boiled, wash them in cold water and peel them. Then cut them into small pieces.

Step-06

For the dressing, take 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of mustard to it.

Step-07

Prepare the dressing by mixing mayonnaise and mustard well.

Step-08

Take peas, carrots, potatoes, and eggs in a bowl.

Step-09

Then add the dressing to the bowl.

Step-10

Mix all the ingredients well. Mix slowly and carefully. Do not apply pressure with your hands while mixing.

Step-11

Mix in coriander leaves to enhance the aroma and taste. Then mix lightly.

Step-12

Refrigerate In normal temperature to enhance the flavor and mix the ingredients well. I refrigerated for about 1 hour.

Step-13

I took it out of the fridge after 1 hour and ate it. I tried it once before putting it in the fridge. However, I like it better when it's slightly cold after taking it out of the fridge.

Step-14

I attached a sign with the name, date, and name of the challenge.

In our country, mixing coriander leaves with salad is very popular. So I mixed coriander leaves. Coriander leaves increase the taste and aroma of the salad. Adding coriander leaves has increased both the smell and taste of my salad. Taste along with smell is an amazing combination that doubles the taste of eating. We eat potatoes, eggs, carrots every day. But making salad with it is amazing. I am really surprised. After making salad for the first week, my confidence has increased. So I was optimistic from the beginning. My salad tasted amazing. It has fulfilled my efforts and hard work.

  • It is a low-calorie food, so it helps to lose or control weight.

  • While boiling potatoes and carrots, be careful not to overcook them. If they are overcooked, the potatoes will become mushy. This can ruin the beauty and taste of the salad.

  • Follow the rules for making salads and be careful about selecting the quantity. Excess quantity can ruin the taste of the salad.

  • Hybrid coriander leaves available in the market do not have any smell. So choose young coriander leaves with smell.

  • Cut the potatoes and carrots into small pieces gradually. This will make them look good. Do not apply excessive hand pressure while cutting and mixing.

  • You can boil the peas a little. This will remove the raw smell and make them soft, making them more enjoyable to eat.
