I am here for taking part in the contest organized by @steemit-ironchef . I am thankful to the community for organizing this power up contest.
So let's start:
Importance of powering up steem !
We power up our Steem to increase Steem Power. Steem Power is like strength on the Steemit platform. When we have more Steem Power, our vote becomes stronger. It means we can give more rewards to others and also get better rewards on our own posts. Powering up shows that we are active and serious users. It helps us grow slowly on Steemit. Steem Power also helps in getting more trust from the community. If we do not powering up steem, it does not help much. But when we power up, it becomes useful. It is a smart way to support others and build our own account. So, powering up is good for us and the whole Steemit family. That is why we do Steem Power Up.
First, I opened my Steemit profile. At the top right corner of the mobile screen, I clicked on the three lines. A menu appeared with different options. I selected Wallet. After clicking, it. I opened my wallet.
Now friends, you can see that I have 189 Steem and 651 Steem Power in my wallet. I want to convert my Steem into Steem Power. So, I clicked on the small arrow near Steem balance. From the new menu, I selected the Power Up option.
After clicking “Power Up,” a new page opened. There, I put the amount of Steem I wanted to convert. I entered 189 in the amount section and then clicked on the Power Up button.
The next page was for confirmation. It showed the account and the amount to be powered up. I checked the details and clicked OK. Now, you can see that I have 0 Steem and my Steem Power has increased to 840.
So, this is how I powered up my Steem. It was a simple and easy process. I hope you understood and liked it.

How do you think the winners are being selected? Is it by the highest power-up or just randomly? I have been trying to contact our admin, but I haven't received a response.
This is my second time participating in the steem power up contest. Last time, I didn't have many steems for power up. In my opinion, ones who power up more steems usually wins the contest. By the way, I didn't understand why you were reaching out to your admins?
I just wanted to clarify something. Not everyone has a large amount of liquid STEEM to power up with each week or month, especially newcomers. I wanted to know if newcomers can participate as well, and if there’s a possibility of winning. It seems that the winning rate is dependent on the highest power-up amount. That’s all I wanted to understand. By the way, I admire your writing style. Good luck, friend!
