Power up on Steem blockchain is a process of transferring liquid Steem into Steem power. This is done to boost the power of a user in order to use it and support others and earn curation rewards.

Today I'm happy to power up from the rewards I got , here is the process I took to power up and it will be helpful for the newcomers

• step 1

This is done by opening the steemit wallet with the active key , it will open then you can see the clickable green arrow. The next step will pump up .

Step 2

This where you will see the power up button scroll to exactly where you click on power up and wait for the next step

Step 3

This is where you can confirm your name and then put the amount of Steem you want , proceed to clicking ok and the power up will be successful while your Steem power will add up according to the amount of Steem powered up.

Importance of powering up on Steem blockchain.

• It gives someone the chance of occupying certain positions on the platform such as moderator, curator and Steem representative.

• Powering up gives the power to support others meaningfully and in return earn Curation rewards.

• It gives recognition as it shows that the user has future plans of staying for longer time.

• Power up helps steemit user to have future savings.

• Power up build users Steem power and increases the market value of Steem price.
