Recipe: Puli Pitha

Assalamu Alaikum friends, how are you all? I am also very well by the grace of Allah. Pitha Puli is a traditional food of rural Bengal. In our rural society, various types of pitha are made during winter. However, Puli Pitha can be made at any time, not just during winter. Today, I suddenly felt like making Puli Pitha. So without further delay, I started making it with what I had at home. Let's take a look at the ingredients I used to make Puli Pitha

Ingredients

  • Rice flour.
  • Salt.
  • Turmeric powder.
  • Chili powder.
  • Oil.
  • Water.
  • Minced beef.

Preparation method:

🥟 First, boil enough water in a pot, add turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt to taste. When the water boils, mix it well with rice flour. Once the mixture is ready, knead it well.

🥟 Once the dota is kneaded well, it is ready to be made into lechi.

🥟 Make that lechi into bread. Then cut it into small pieces with the help of a glass.


🥟 I close the puris with minced meat.

🥟 Then heat oil in a pan and fry the pithas on low heat.
