Garlic Meatballs with Potatoes
A delicious and aromatic dish with meatballs and potatoes, flavored with garlic instead of onion.
Ingredients:
- 300–400 g (10–14 oz) ground beef or lamb
- 2–3 cloves of garlic, grated
- 1 slice of stale bread, crumbled (or 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs)
- 1 egg
- Salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, cumin (to taste)
- 3–4 potatoes
- 2–3 tablespoons vegetable oil
For the sauce:
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 cups hot water
- Salt
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the meatballs:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, grated garlic, crumbled bread, egg, salt, and spices.
Knead well and shape into small balls, either round or slightly flattened.
2️⃣ Prepare the potatoes:
Peel and cut the potatoes into slices or cubes.
Season lightly with salt.
