SLC27-W3 // "Desserts From Fruits and vegetables"
Am thrilled to engage in the steemit learning challenge third week of season 27 under the topic dessert made with Fruit and vegetables where everyone is entitled to use their hand and prepare a dessert of their choice. It is advisable that we all should remember nutrition is one of the pillars of our health and general well-being. In less than no time let processed to contest practical and questions.
Have you ever tried any dessert that is made from vegetables? If you like any, give its name and why.
My answer is known NO in the question. I have never tried this recipe before. From my research I realised that this dessert is widely consumed by Indian and other countries not Nigerian. They have lauki ka Halwa, which is made form gourd, sugar,ghee, milk,dry fruits and Cardamom powder. They also have a popular dessert parwal ki mithai and Tamartar ki Barfi.
Although, this is my first time preparation, my husband and children like it. I was surprised how they cherish this dessert. I hope to prepare it once more.

In preparation of dessert made from vegetables,I wash all need utensils and add the required quantity of the ingredients.

Carrots | 1/2 kg |
Rice | 2 tbsp |
Water | ¼ Cup |
Milk | 1 litres |
Sugar | ¾ Cup or to taste |
Cardamom | 1/2 teaspoon |
Almonds sliced | 2 tbs |
Making
In a clean bowl, I measured the required quantity rice into it, I wash it properly and and soaked for 2hours. After that, I transfer it into a blender and grind properly and set aside.
-In another bowl, I wash and peel the back of the carrots , thereafter I use greater and grater it into smaller pieces and set aside.
In a pot, I poured in my one litre of milk and I allow it to boil.
I go in with my grated carrots,ground rice and mix well. I cook on medium flame for 5-6 minutes, I cook on low flame for 18-20 minutes and I keep stirring in between.
I added sugar,cardamom, almonds, I mix well, I continue cooking on medium flame until milk is reduced and thickened.
I turn on the flame and cook for a minute.I garnish with pistachios serve it chilled!

In preparation of carrots pudding, I did not experience any difficulties because I followed my teacher's instruction on how to do it tactfully.
To make new things, it is advisable to abide by the rules and instructions given. Using the same measurements will help attend to a pleasing results. My first time of Making desserts From Fruits And Vegetable turn out excellent and a excited about that.
Reading this contest,I was curious thinking of outcome but after that preparation, It was 100 % delicious.

Carrot pudding is a nutritious dessert because of the milk, carrots and nut contains in it.
Carrot 🥕 is well known fruit that is rich vitamin A. This helps in supporting our vision, skin health and improve our immune system.
Carrot is among the good source of dietary fibre which helps in food digestion and prevent all individuals from regular constipation. Carrot 🥕 also contains antioxidant that helps in regulation of body sugar and reduce inflammation.
Adding milk to the dessert makes it more nutritious, milk provided calcium for strong bones and teeth. Talking about nut, it contains a healthy fats and proteins.
