In this winter season we can't think our life without pitha. Now, I want to share How to make "Vapa Pitha". Anyone can easily make Vapa pitha by following the described steps. Now, I am telling the process step by stem. Keep reading...

Ingredients needed

  • Patali/sweet,Rice flour and some water

Step-1:

  • First take the white flour in a bowl.

Step -2:

  • Then take some water in it so that the mixture does not dissolve. For one kg flour,take half kg water.

Step-3:

  • Try to mix water with flour using hand. And wait for the above form.

  • Then draw some mixed flour on this little cake making pot and put a patali / sweet on it.

  • Then keep some water mixed flour on it.Add enough flour to fill the pot.

  • Then cover with coconut leaves or net over it so that the flour does not fall down when the pitha making pot is raised.

  • You can see that two cakes can be made together in a cake pan, so you have to follow the previous process again and put unboiled /raw pitha

  • Then cover the pot with a lid.You can see the big pot made of aluminum. There is a water inside pot. When give hit, the water inside the pot will start boiling and the smoke will try to come out of the water.

  • Remove the lid from the pot after leaving it at full temperature for 5 minutes.You will see that the cake is not the same as before. The color has changed a bit and some of the sweet inside or patali has come out and the cake has turned red.

  • Now put the cakes in the container of your choice and now you can eat it because this cake is good to eat hot.
