Filipinos really love to cook. We had made lots of recipes and delicacies. Last week, while me and my hubby went to Opon Market, an "ale" shouted "puto bumbong". Me and my hubby is so curious of its taste, so we stopped by and try this delicacy.

According to what I read in google, PUTO BUMBONG originated here in Philippines. It is a purple rice cake which is cook in a tube.

Before, I always see this delicacy. I wanted to try this one but I am always in a hurry and customers are always falling in line. So, since I don't have enough time so I haven't tried it.

And just last week, puto bumbong is not that busy so we are able to try it.

This delicacy is the best. The grated cheese topping adds the good taste in it. It only cost 75php which is roughly equal to 6.25steem per 4 pieces. That price is indeed so affordable and worth its taste.

We love its taste, it is so perfect. According to the vendor, her customer usually paired it with coca-cola.

Have you all tried it? If not, don't waste your time and try it. And I can assure you the best delicacy ever and was cook uniquely. And it is best served when hot.
