I could have guessed this too, if I didn't already see how they don't show random things on TV. It's like that even with movies. When Russia's war with Ukraine started, Bulgarian TV suddenly stopped showing all Russian movies. Bulgaria is a big admirer of Russia, but now it was time to show someone that this is not the case. They started showing Ukrainian films. We even watched the film in which Zelensky played the role of president before he became president. I am sure that if it were not for this situation, this series would never have reached the Bulgarian audience. Then, when the military relations between Israel and Gaza escalated, Israeli films appeared on television. What clearer way to show belonging and taking sides than that?
I could give more examples related to the films that are watched and everything that is shown, because, of course, no matter what we say, there is no freedom of speech and our media is not independent. Everything is an order, a well-arranged, probably paid order for manipulation and power over the minds of ordinary people.
