The Art of Mr. Monocle
If I had taken these photos with a modern lens, they would have been ordinary photos with lots of sharp details. Ordinary cats and an ordinary balcony. But everything changes with the intervention of Mr. Monocle.
He is a big fan of light. Sometimes it seems to me that he does not shoot objects, but light. He is not interested in small details, he does not pay attention to sharpness and contrast. But that is exactly why I love him.

A lovely balcony. I like this type of architecture. The cats look as if they are painted, I believe the eye for light isn't bad at all.
