How are you my dear steem friends I hope everyone is fine. I am also good Alhamdulillah (by the grace of Almighty Allah).

This is my entry for Week 5 of the Steemit Challenge Season 24 and today I am happy to share that I have added "Government Girls College Phase 7 Hayatabad Peshawar" to OpenStreetMap This is my collage i am studying from this collage and This college is important in our area but is missing from the online maps so I decide to add it myself . Now students and parents can easily locate it using OpenStreetMap & Steem Atlas.

Step 1: Opening OpenStreetMap

I started by visiting the official OpenStreetMap website:

https://www.openstreetmap.org

Then I logged in to my account. If you i was dont have accont sign up with my Google account.

Step 2: Entering Edit Mode

After logging in I clicked the “Edit” button at the top and selected “Edit with iD (in-browser editor)” which is simple and doesn’t require any installation.

Step 3: Finding the College Location

I zoomed into Phase 7 Hayatabad Peshawar using the search box or by dragging the map manually. Then I located the exact area where Government Girls College is situated.

Step 4: Drawing the Building Using the Area Tool

Since this is a building I used the “Area” tool from the toolbar. I clicked to create nodes around the structure and completed the boundary.

After drawing I right clicked and selected the “Square” option to align the corners neatly.

Step 5: Adding Details About the College

Once the shape was created a feature panel appeared on the left side. I searched and selected “College / University” as the place type.

Then I filled in the following information:

• Name: Government Girls College Phase 7 Hayatabad Peshawar
• Type: Educational Institute
• Additional Info: I also added optional tags like the address and local language name (Near haji camp BRT Station)

Step 6: Saving the Changes

After verifying the detail I click the “Save” button on the top right corner It prompted me to add a changeset Comment.

I entered:
"Added Government Girls College Hayatabad Peshawar to OSM for Steem Atlas."

Step 7: Verifying the Added Location

After a few minutes I searched again on the map and the college appeared successfully.
