Steematlas-s24w1 | History, Art & Architecture - Announcement of the winners!

in #steem-atlaslast month

First of all, we want to extend a warm greeting to the entire Steemit community and thank the authors who participated in our Challenge proposal for the first week.

We are pleased to announce that we had 27 authors participate, highlighting countries such as Indonesia, Venezuela, and Bangladesh. The entries are divided by continent as follows:

After reviewing each of the posts, we selected six authors who stood out for the quality of their submissions, for properly following the recommendations, and for inspiring us with such original entries.

The Winners:

Historical Artwork - Pancharatna Govinda Temple Puthia, Rajshahi, Bangladesh by @max-pro

The silent nature around me, the play of sunlight on the ancient architecture and the depth of the terracotta masterchip fascinated me. It felt like I was not just a tourist but a silent reader of history.
In each terracotta tablet, it was as if someone from the past was talking to me, sometimes Krishna, sometimes a warring king, sometimes a gopi in love.

Warisan Tak Ternilai: Museum Sonobudoyo by @qiabilla

For residents who have never watched a puppet show live, this aquarium is really cool for visitors because it can give an idea of the atmosphere of the show. So even though there is no real puppeteer, visitors can still see the position of the puppets, their shadows on the screen, and the typical atmosphere of a traditional Javanese performance.

Ingenio Bolívar, San Mateo. by @rosiortega

I give this place a 10/10, as I find its history fascinating in every possible way. It also gives us a glimpse into the life of our Liberator and everything he experienced within these walls. Knowing that we're standing on land that was once the site of wars for independence fills us with pride and satisfaction.

Masjid Sang Dermawan - Mesjid Haji Muhammad Hanafiah by @alee75

This mosque has a fairly magnificent architecture (a blend of Middle Eastern and Acehnese architecture) with a dominant white color on the exterior and interior.

Christ Church Cathedral, a Gothic jewel suspended above the tumult of Montreal by @kouba01

Far from being just an architectural vestige, Christ Church Cathedral is a living organism, open to all, whatever their beliefs, a space of inclusion, dialogue and wonder. Leaving the cathedral, after having admired for a long time the vaulted ceilings, the colored stained glass windows and the play of shadows on the woodwork, I had the sensation of having experienced a timeless parenthesis, an escape towards the essential, in the very heart of the urban hustle and bustle, this place, both discreet and grandiose, deserves to be rediscovered, protected and shared.

Cuartel Mariano Montilla La Victoria by @oswaldocuarta

I thoroughly enjoyed this visit because it's an incredible place, and hearing stories is fascinating to me, especially when they're true stories and stories that helped achieve so much in terms of sovereignty. I 100% recommend this tour if you're near the city of La Victoria.

Thank you for staying active by participating.
