Ilsan Lake Park is a neighborhood park created in connection with the Ilsan New Town Housing Site Development Project, creating the largest artificial lake in Korea to reproduce the natural ecosystem that urban people cannot access and provide recreation spaces using various surrounding landscapes and lakes.
In particular, 9.1km of trails, such as 4.7km of bicycle paths and Metasequire Road centered on the lake, are particularly popular places for citizens, and various ecological and cultural facilities such as ecological nature learning centers, sculptural arts, and cactus exhibitions are established.
In addition, it is a park that is becoming a global attraction as well as in Korea, with Goyang International Flower Fair, Autumn Flower Festival, and Lake Arts Festival held every year.
