Sevit Island

It is an artificial island created as a complex cultural space on the water of the Han River downstream of Banpo Bridge in Seoul.
The official name is 'Floating Island' and was planned as part of the 'Han River Renaissance Project' promoted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in 2006. It consists of three islands that are built on the floating body of the Han River at the southern end of Banpo Bridge and connected by Taoism, and according to satellite coordinates, the winch of the artificial island is fixed by loosening and pulling the wire, and when the water level rises, the mooring chain is released and moves along the water level.
Island 1 has auxiliary facilities such as convention halls and restaurants for various events such as international conferences, receptions, production presentations, and marketing events, while Island 2 has a space to attract cultural experience events such as performances and exhibitions and events such as conferences and seminars, and Island 3, which depicts seeds, is used as a water sports space.
