STEEM ATLAS [11 May '25] : #winwithatlas : Delegators Draws & Atlas Challenge Top 20

We have seen from the Atlas Challenge that people like contests, so we have come up with two more ways to win on Steem Atlas.

For anyone who delegates Steem Power to @steem-atlas, we are introducing weekly Delegators Draws.

For everyone enjoying the Atlas Challenge, we are extending the winners from the Top 10 to the Top 20.

Delegators Draws

We are keen to build up the Steem Power of the main @steem-atlas curation account so that we can reward as many people as possible who post on Steem Atlas.

Currently @steem-atlas has just under 150,000 Steem Power, and we are very thankful to the 18 people who have already delegated to the account.

To reward these people, and to encourage more people to delegate we are introducing weekly Delegator Draws.

Every Saturday we will randomly pick one of the delegators to @steem-atlas and reward them with a prize of 25 STEEM.

To qualify for the draw, people must be delegating at least 1000 SP.

They will get one entry in the draw for every 1000 SP they are delegating.

So if someone is delegating 2400 SP they will get two entries in the draw; if they are delegating 1900 SP they will get just one entry.

If someone delegates 3000 SP, they will get three entries in the draw. And so on...

Anyone delegating less than 1000 SP will for the timebeing not be entered in the draw.

The first draw will take place on Saturday 17 May 2025, and everyone delegating 1000 SP or more will be entered in the draw.

For subsequent draws, only Steem Power that has been delegated for at least the past 7 days will count towards the draw entries.

If this Delegators Draw incentive program goes well we will look at increasing the prizes, and possibly reducing the entry threshold.

The Atlas Challenge goes Top 20

Currently in each Atlas Challenge prize event, a prize pool of 550 STEEM is shared amongst the Top 10 authors on the Steem Atlas Leaderboard.

Starting with the next event on 14 April there will another 100 STEEM added to the prize pool.

This will be shared out equally to everyone in positions #11 to #20 on the Leaderboard...

• 1st place = 100 STEEM

• 2nd place = 90 STEEM

• 3rd place = 80 STEEM

• 4th place = 70 STEEM

• 5th place = 60 STEEM

• 6th place = 50 STEEM

• 7th place = 40 STEEM

• 8th place = 30 STEEM

• 9th place = 20 STEEM

• 10th place = 10 STEEM

• 11th place = 10 STEEM

• 12th place = 10 STEEM

• 13th place = 10 STEEM

• 14th place = 10 STEEM

• 15th place = 10 STEEM

• 16th place = 10 STEEM

• 17th place = 10 STEEM

• 18th place = 10 STEEM

• 19th place = 10 STEEM

• 20th place = 10 STEEM

The Leaderboad rankings are not just calculated on the number of posts.

There is a complex algorithm that uses a whole set of different factors to work out the rankings automatically and dynamically. (Being a Steem Ambassador is NOT one of the factors.)

We are keen to develop gamification further on Steem Atlas, as it adds an additional layer of interest and incentive to the platform.

These two new additions will initially run until the end of June.
