Hearing Test Center, Tangail

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen. Welcome to steem-atlas. Our favourite Steem-Atlas Ambassador @mohammadfaisal has organized a wonderful atlas contest, and I will be entering it. Today I will add an ear test center atlas map of our city and discuss in detail. Today I will review a place related to our daily medical. The Tangail Hearing Test Center is next to a main road located in the center of the city. From the outside, the first thing to see is a huge signboard where the name and contact number of the center is written in English and Bengali in big letters. Although the main building has two floors, the part used for the hearing test is located on the ground floor. The gate is kept in a security room next to it made of hardened iron. Installation of CCTV cameras next to the gate which records 24 hours.

A high capacity CCTV camera is installed at the entrance. It observes every aspect outside the center. Next to it there is a big welcome written so that all people are happy to see. After entering the interior, cameras have been installed everywhere in the reception, waiting room, examination room and payment desk. A guard is always on the side of the gate for safety. Arriving persons enter their name in the register. It is forbidden to enter the shoes inside. CC cameras are operated from the inside.

As soon as you enter through the main entrance, you can see the reception desk. A cheerful receptionist sits here. Although after we left he was busy working in another room who welcomed the incoming patients. There is a large desk in front where the question and answer work is completed.

Behind is the hospital logo and information board where the service schedule, examination type and cost list is included. Four-five rows of chairs are lined up to sit in the reception area. Awareness related posters are hung on the wall. The entire space is air-conditioned and CCTV camera-controlled.

Waiting Section

There is a waiting room or restroom for patients or their family members. It is relatively spacious and comfortable. There are large sofa sets here. There are curtains hanging around the windows that allow light and air to enter. In one corner of the room there is a water filter, a fan hanging on the wall and two ceiling fans installed on the roof.

Although it is a hot day now, it is hot in the room. That's why the room has a 1.5 ton capacity AC so that the people sitting in the heat are relieved. There is a TV set on the wall where a health documentary continues. There are newspapers, magazines and brochures on the table so that patients can get information about hearing problems.

Exam rooms are very quiet and sound insulation. When you enter, the first thing you see is a small table with a hearing test machine and a computer screen. Soundproof cabin is installed in the room so that the patient can be seated in a quiet environment to verify hearing. There are also separate rooms for children, where their hearing is verified through toys. Audiologists working here are highly skilled and experienced.

A high-quality audiometer machine is used. A headphone is worn on the patient's head and his response is recorded by playing sound of different frequency. The doctor monitors all the information on the screen from the side. We all went to perform the audiological test so we took a picture of the audio checking machine. My friend was trying to check the audio with headphones on.

The center has clean and modern washroom facilities. There are separate washrooms for men and women to maintain privacy. The washroom doors are clearly marked next to the entrance.

The washrooms have Western commodes, wash basins, mirrors and bottles of liquid soap. Hand dryers or tissue paper are also provided. Regular cleaning is done daily and an inspection list is kept on the wall where the cleaning time and the name of the cleaning staff on duty are mentioned for each cleaning.

To get accurate results, the patient is given some important instructions before the hearing test begins. These instructions are written on a board next to the reception and are also communicated verbally by the receptionist and audiologist.

When putting on the headphones, it must be ensured that they are placed correctly. Whenever a sound is heard during the audio test, the patient is asked to immediately raise his hand or press a button, which must be followed properly.

After the examination, the patient has to go to the report counter for the report. The staff here prepares the report in the software and prints it out. If hearing aid is required, its recommendation is also given here. There is a separate room for preparing the report.

There is a payment desk next to the report counter. Both Nagad and bKash mobile banking payment options are available here. Every transaction is recorded in a computerized billing system. A queue management display is installed here so that patients can easily understand the serial. All types of payment systems are available.

For those who have congenital hearing problems or who have accidentally lost their hearing in their ears, there is a Hear Ace system. A hearing aid is a small electronic device that is used by people with hearing problems so that they can hear the surrounding sounds better.

It is basically placed in the ear and makes the sound louder and clearer. So it should be used according to the doctor's instructions. How to use it, how to put it in the ear, all the instructions are given here.
