We spent a day at Rain Forest.

One of the most important and famous tourist destinations in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu state in India is the " Rain Forest. It is located near the Black Thunder complex, about five kilometers from Mettupalayam town. It is a very pleasant and cool place to visit during the summer. During the hot season, it is very pleasant to go into such a cool forest area. It is a garden set in an artificial theme of rain forest set amidst dense forest and trees, as it is located at the foothills of the Nilgiri Hills.

When entered to the forest there is a bamboo floating bridge has been erected over a canal that leads into the rain forest. There are handrails made of iron and wood for walking on. Walking on the floating bridge is an experience, though. Once you've crossed it, you'll find a large, aesthetically pleasing artificial water fountain.

Boat house

After admiring the fountains, I went inside and thought of seeing a pond there. The pond was very beautiful, about an acre in area. There were gardens and statues of small animals and snakes around it. It was very beautiful to see. There was a boating service in the pond. There was no charge to go on that boat.

We can travel on that boat if we have an entry ticket. But it is definitely necessary to wear a life jacket. When we went, there were no people to ride. So the boat was empty. When we wanted to ride, the representative there gave us a life jacket and asked us to wear it. Then he helped us sit in the boat. After we sat down, my husband and my son pedaled the boat and sail.

Since the pond was in the forest, it was a little scary to ride a boat alone. By then, some other tourists had arrived and they also started riding in a row, which made our fears go away. Then we had a very enjoyable trip on the board. My husband and I did it together. I kept taking photos of the surroundings. We went around the pond twice. This boat trip was very enjoyable for my son, as it was his first time on such a trip, so it was different and fun for him.
