Steemit Learning Challenge-S27W1; Physiofit; Pain-free Challenge"
It is another interesting moment to join the physiofit challenge this season.
Pain is an experience that everyone has gone through, irrespective of the degree to which it occurred. We cannot remove ourselves from this experience given our human and living nature. It is no respect of status, gender, or age but occurs when we dash our body against hard surfaces, fall ill, or bleed from cuts, fractures, and dislocations.
Growing up in this side of the region, where we play freely both during rainfall, moonlight, and sunlight. We get injured at different moments with the corresponding pain levels. Inshut jiat looking at our bodies as kids, one can easily count the different patches from sustained injuries. This is a symbol of the different painful moments we've passed through.
During this experience, there are situations where we feel this pain just for the moment or for a short period of time. However, we find situations where this tarries over a longer period of time. Hence, this justifies the different classes or categories of pain we will be looking at in this discussion.
Types of Pain
Acute Pain:
This type of pain is a simple representation of painful moments that happen suddenly. Accidents [either from domestic accidents, light car accidents, athletics, etc], injuries, cuts, or possibly from illness.
Acute pain is characterized by its short-lived moments. They are usually not expected to last more than the stipulated period. They may be severe and come with a high degree of pain at the initial time, but are usually short-term in their experience.
Examples are pains from cuts, burns, fractures, and domestic accidents.
Chronic Pain:
For chronic pain type, it is an advancement of what we experience in acute pain Types, especially in its duration of experience. It is categorized under the long-term pain type due to its continuous occurrence. In some cases, it is intermittent as it comes and fizzles out alternatively.
Chronic pain is a worrisome kind of pain that tends to outlive its host if not well managed. Examples of this include pain from Arthritis, waist, and back pain.
Neuropathic Pain:
In addition to what was taught in the class, we have this nerve-induced pain. This is typical of a dysfunctional nervous system, as its pain, most of the time, is unbearable to its victim. A victim of neuropathic pain experiences tingling or burning sensations during this moment.
Examples of people with these may be experiencing pains from Ulcer crises or diabetic neuropathy.
Pathology of Pain
Understanding the pathology of pain is necessary as this helps us carry out the diagnosis and treatment of injuries or a history of pain. We can not use the same treatment type to handle all pain conditions. Different pain conditions require unique approaches and therapies for handling them.
Looking at physiological and biochemical processes that characterize the pain pathology, it involves different processes for relieving the victim of this enormous pain. The Transduction process of converting into electrical signals, the Transmission, Perception, and Modulation.

Patient's Profile [Annonymous]
Symptom: Intermittent waist & Back pain
Duration: Period of 5 years
Severity: Mild each time of occurrence
Location: Waistline region
Medical History:
Patient hasn't been involved in any known injuries in the past, especially in the waistline region or hips. This is also applicable to any known illness relating to either arthritis or disc issues. Sleeping and sofa use type has been flagged.
However, the patient has been suspected of putting on body weight, which may raise a little concern and initiate undue pressure on the waist area. Patient's job-related strains may not be out of place.
Some physical measures have been taken, like the use of pills to subdue pain. The patient has embarked on a dietary weight loss process to help correct this pressure within the region. Mild exercises taken sparingly to help with the condition.
Like I mentioned earlier, some mild physical exercises have been a great relief measure to handling this intermittent back waist pain. It brings relief no matter how gradual.
There was this soothing relief I felt right from the legs down to the hip joint. Then the back is also observed to be in harmony with the applied rhythm.
Thank you for understanding the challenge and sharing your assignment; I hope you enjoy this week's challenge and try to implement it in your life if you see any such case.
