Steem-Agro Drawing Contest 20: Agriculture Through Art

First of all, I would like to thank @ahsansharif bhai for organizing this wonderful contest like every week. Our agriculture is very much involved in this contest. And the theme of this week's contest was to make an art of any tool used in agriculture. And so I made a plow art which was the main tool for cultivating the land in ancient times and its use is noticeable even in the present era. Below is the step-by-step process of my plow art today.

First, I took a white paper, a scale, and a pencil. Then, on the right side of the white paper, I drew a long stick-like part and below it, I drew a bent, sharp head that is used to loosen the soil.

Then, from the middle of those two parts, I made a large stick-like shape on the upper part, which is attached to the back of a cow or buffalo. And I designed a small cut at the bottom, right in front of the head of this long stick-like object.

Then I drew another thin parallel line on the top of the parallel stick. In the same way, I drew lines on the two parts on the right side, leaving a slight gap on the left. Then I drew the rest of the plow on the right side of the curved part.

Then I colored the entire plow in black with my 6b pencil. I did a little darker black on both sides and kept the middle a little white. I also did a little design on the part of the plow that loosens the soil.

Finally, I took a selfie with my art today.

Plows are very important in our lives in agriculture. At one time, this plow was the main tool of people for cultivation. However, although the use of this plow has decreased, now the land is cultivated with this plow in many places. Because even though the land is cultivated quickly with a tractor, the tractor cannot loosen the soil much, but when the land is cultivated with a plow, the plow can loosen the soil a lot. Moreover, there are many small plows that are still being used and there is no alternative to them. To cultivate potatoes, onions, garlic, etc., the soil has to be loosened with a plow. Then the seeds have to be sown in that hole and soil has to be added on top. In addition, plows are also used in the cultivation of various vegetables. Therefore, we can say that even in the digital age, there is no alternative to the plow in many cases.
