The Angolan guava, my discovery

in Steem-Agroyesterday

Hello, today I'd like to share with you a discovery I made a few days ago. I was taking a walk around my house and discovered an Angolan guava plant, which is how I know it. It had been growing there, you could say, for three months, because it was a good size and already had some Angolan guava fruits. So, I wanted to share the discovery with you.

I did some research with my family and did other research to get a clearer idea of what I was going to write, and now I have all the information. That's why I haven't written for several days.

I've been researching the Angolan guava.
Also, something I wanted to tell you: the photos this time aren't from Pixabay, but rather ones I took myself. I have photos of some of its size, as well as its flowers and already quite large fruits. Well, with that, we begin.

The Angolan guava was already quite large, about four meters long. It was tangled in several weeds when I found it. It must also have grown there because someone threw it away or because of some other event.

I've also grown them several times and made several juices with them. Just add sugar, the pulp, and water, and you have a natural and healthy juice. Its flavor notes are somewhere between sweet and sour, but it has a very rich taste.

Well, here's some of what I also researched.

This is a variety of guava native to tropical America, with records of its cultivation dating back more than 2,000 years, by indigenous people. Now I'd also like to mention some methods for obtaining this fruit, that is, some methods for growing it. Growing this plant is very easy, as you only need to remove the pulp and plant it in beds or pots. This facilitates the growth of the seeds, as they will have better prepared soil.

Once planted, it is expected to be a good size for transplanting. They should be placed in open spaces, as they can reach a large size. Its fruit is easily identifiable when ripe, as it is green when unripe and yellow when ripe. In my case, I haven't grown them many times because I haven't had the seeds on hand to plant them.

I'm going to show you some of its fruits. I can't have pictures of its ripe fruit because I didn't have any. The Angolan guava is very rich in nutrients, but it can also be used in juices and smoothies. Its sweetness makes it perfect for natural and refreshing drinks. It can also be used in jams and preserves due to its intense flavor. Also, something I learned while researching is that it can be used to make desserts and sweets. This is incorporated into jellies and ice cream. Its leaves have medicinal properties that I don't know what they are at this time.

I know that its fruit can regulate blood pressure, and this was something I learned about with my family. Well, I hope you enjoyed my research. It took me several days to complete.

I really appreciate you reading my post.

Well, I'll leave my link below so you can contact me and give me some tips to keep writing.
