Agricultural Story #24

in Steem-Agro2 months ago

Hello friends welcome to my blog

This is the season of the African pear in my country, which should make it surplus and should be available to enjoy more of it, but it happens to be expensive because you that you cant get enough to be satisfied, you have to spend a lot to get your desired quantity, especially when you have family members to share with. So yesterday I went to the market and stumbled into a section in the market where it was being sold and found out that it was cheaper.

The women who sell the African pear in the market get it from the village to the market, where other people come to buy and resell. I bought a lot from them as it was cheaper compared to what I buy on my street. It was good and would be enough for everyone at home.

It's a means of income generation as a lot of people love and consume it just like me, when it's in season, as consuming natural fruits is healthier. The woman who has brought it from her village to sell makes money from it for the survival of her family and adds to the local economy.

African pear can help in the treatment of digestive problems. This is an agricultural product with a long-term income-generating for a seller/farmer who has the tree

My story is not stopping at the African pear. I also got Gauva another healthy and delicious fruit. I was pleased with the woman who sold the Guava to me, despite her divided attention in attending to other customers, she was so appreciative that she thanked me for buying from her. For me, it's rare because lots of sellers are just after collecting your money and moving on to the next buyer, but this woman's appreciative gesture caught me.

However, Guava is a fruit packed with healthy benefits. It has a delicious sweet taste when ripe, it is an immune booster because of its richness in vitamins, and its content also helps in the prevention of prostate issues in men. Guava is a fruit enjoyed by lots of people the leaves are not left out on this, they are also medicinal when boiled, the water is used in the treatment of some illnesses

Have you wondered why those in the rural area hardly fall ill, especially the kids who ignorantly pluck fruits to eat without knowing they are doing themselves good, which will keep them far from visiting the hospital. Fruits are a good source of vitamins and minerals, keeping the body hydrated and helping fight against some diseases. It's also a means for farmers to generate income. I advise you to eat them when they are in season.
