SC S25W6: Dibujando mi personaje animé.
Hello to everyone reading, good evening, good afternoon, good morning, good night... depending on when your seeing this. It's a pleasure to bring another wonderful work of art to your screen . And I hope you'll appreciate.
This week we were asked to do a freestyle art ,choosing from any of the genre we've been studying for the past five weeks.
I decided to choose the Realistic Anime Style. And I drew a character and style with creativity from my own imagination.
I chose an African anime character. We've been drawing for like 5 weeks now, and I didn't see anyone draw an African anime style from any series. When we were given this opportunity to create our own characters. I decided to do exceptional.
TOOLS
2B pencil
Erasers
Sharpener
Blender
A4 Drawing paper
I started by creating a structure for my drawing.
How I want my drawing to be presented, whether standing or sitting. Any position at all. I chose it by drawing out the guide lines first. I included the horizontal and vertical lines for the head.

After that, I detailed the lines to make it more visible . I detailed it by resharpening my pencil and applying more pressure while redrawing the sketched lines.
I started the shading with the hair today.
Ask around, you will get to know that a typical African character doesn't have straight hair. Their hair grows tangled and Coiled up.... Except for some with genetic variation.
My character has the ability to create realistic arts in just few seconds, just like her creator.... That's why I gave her a pencil to hold.
As a matter of fact, she wrote my username and date on her drawing book😂😂.

Testing if the pencil would be good enough or I should try the charcoal pencil. But the 2B was doing a nice job , so I didn't bother using the charcoal pencil.
So , I shade the hair, making some parts darker than some other parts. Indicating the parts with light and the parts with darkness.
Moving on, I started shading the face and body of the girl.
The clothes I shaded them too, leaving some areas darker and some other areas brighter...
After the shading, I used the cotton-bud to smoothen it.
Then I wrote my username and today's date on the book she's holding.
This is a picture of me with my art.

¡Hola!

This is creative and very artistic, the final result is stunning and I like the fact that you thought of creating an African anime, it truly shows how creative you are. Well done and keep it up
