Wisdom Comes with Age.

Wisdom has been define in different ways depending on a person's understanding of the word wisdom. The way a philosopher will define wisdom is different from the way theologian and other scholars will define it. So wisdom ia define differently by different people.
In my own case this is how I define wisdom.

What do you understand by the word wisdom?

Wisdom can be define as discernment and insightful ability a person hs to perceived and understand situations that are difficult to understand by many and thereby decide on what to do using his or her past experiences and knowledge.

Wisdom is characterized with humility, being the ability to understand oneself limit knowledge and then accept to learn from other people who are more knowledgeable.

Wisdom is also seen when a person is willing to adapt to changing circumstances and navigate to face reality.

Do you think great wisdom comes with age or anyone can possess it?

Age is sometimes seen as a factor in the development of wisdom, but it can be said that it is the only factor used in the determination of wisdom.
There are some who are older in age buy do not posses this quality called wisdom while there are also some who are very tender in age but are wise. Wisdom i believe can be cultivated through different means and by different people irrespective of the age.

Wisdom can be cultivated through through self reflection and regular examination of our thoughts, actions, and feelings.

Wisdom can be cultivated through continuous learning and seeking new knowledge and life experience.

Mentorship is another way someone can cultivate knowledge without being old or young. Receiving guidance from learned people can as well helps us to be wise.

If wisdom should come with age, do you agree that all elders are wise?

Age is not a guarantee for one to be wise, but it is sometimes seen as one of the factors in the development of wisdom.

I strongly do not agree that all elders are wise because there are some elders who are authoritarian seeking only their personal interest rather than the interest of others.

Some elders do not adopt new ideas and change circumstances. What they do is still hold on to their old ideas.

Wisdom is not influenced by age. Rather, it is influenced by life experiences, cognitive ability, personal growth, and emotional intelligence, as well as empathy.

What is your personal understanding of elders possessing wisdom?

From my personal experience, I have seen that most wise elders have valuable life experience which they gain through their many years of living on earth, their constant learning and the challenges they have overcome over the past years.

I have seen many of them making wise decisions based on their past experiences, their choices in life, and analyzing the ones that worked for them and the ones that didn't work for them and make decisions.

Elders have a lot of history to tell because they have lived for many years and have also learned from them.

In conclusion, wisdom can be learned, cultivated and refined. Older wise can be knowledgeable and wise and it can't be said that all elders are wise. A lot of younger people are wise to based on thier experiences and constant learning from people think are more knowledgeable than them.
