Hello my steemit friends I hope you are all doing great and enjoying your time. These contests help me express my thoughts and learn from others. Today i am writing about a very beautiful and important topic Humility. This is my entry for Contest Week 92 and i am excited to share my simple thoughts with you all.

🌼 What does humility mean to you?

For me humility means being kind respectful and not proud. A humble person doesn’t think they are better than others. Even if they have more money beauty or knowledge they treat everyone the same. Humility is when someone says “I’m not perfect ” and they accept their mistakes. It means putting others first sometimes and speaking with love and care. Humility shows a pure heart. I believe that a truly great person is always humble.

🤫 Do you think all quiet people are humble?

No i don’t think all quiet people are humble. Some quiet people are just shy or do not like talking much but that doesn’t always mean they are humble. On the other hand some people who talk a lot can also be very humble. Humility is not about how much you speak; it is about how you treat others. A quiet person may still be proud in their heart and a talkative person may have a humble soul. So humility is about actions and attitude not just silence.

🌟State the characteristics of a humble person.

A humble person has many good qualities. Some of them are:

Kindness – They are kind to everyone rich or poor.

Respect – They respect other people’s thoughts and feelings.

Politeness – They talk in a soft and gentle way.

Thankfulness – They are thankful for what they have.

Learning – They are always ready to learn from others.

Admitting mistakes – They accept when they are wrong and say sorry.

No pride – They don’t show off their talents or wealth.

These characteristics make humble people very special and loved.

💖 What do you admire about humble people?

I admired humble people because they make the world a better place. They do not create drama or hurt others with their words. They bring peace love and comfort wherever they go. I like how they never make others feel small. They speak with respect help without expecting anything and always stay calm. I admire how they accept their mistakes and try to improve. Humble people are strong inside but never loud or rude. Their gentle nature is something i really admire.

🙁 What turns you off in proud people?

Proud people are sometimes hard to be around. What turns me off the most is when they show off talk only about themselves or look down on others. They often want praise and attention all the time. They act likes they are better than everyone else i feels uncomfortable when people act rude or don’t listen to others. Pride closes the heart while humility opens it. Proud people forget that life is short and we all need each other.

😊 Are you a humble person? What defines you?

Yes i try my best to be a humble person. I always treat others with love and respect i listen carefully when someone speaks. I never think I am better than anyone. I say sorry when i am wrong and always try to learn from my mistakes. What defines me is my simple heart my positive attitude and my respect for everyone. I believe that even small acts of kindness show humility.

Humility is a light that shines from inside. It helps us grow love and live in peace. A humble person touches hearts and spreads happiness. I hopes we all try to be more humble every day.
