March: Celebration for Women

Mother's are not just unique human beings, but the are super heroes living a normal life, this they need to be celebrated every day of our lives and not just for a day alone. Remember when we all were singing along the nursery rhyme, "My Mother"? Well, they are everything described there and this is just a mere tribute to all mothers.

When I saw this question, without hesitation, I said oh yes, women definitely needs to be celebrated, there and then I started thinking about all the amazing women in my life, my mom, my sisters, my friends, and even the women I see on the news doing incredible things and it made me realize realized even more on why women deserve to be celebrated every single day.
Why? You may want to ask, well it is because women are indeed strong, resilient and capable beyond measure as they are not just mothers, sisters and friends but the entire backbone of our society, while also being the heart and soul of our families as they are the ones who nurture, inspire, and lead with for a better future with compassion. Remember the popular saying;
"behind ever successful man, there is a woman".
This may not seem true to you, but it is to me because women are the ones who give birth and raise children, shaping the future generations;(including the successful man). While also being the ones who often hold families together, providing love, support, and stability. And often being the first responders in times of crisis, offering comfort and care.

Now, going beyond our homes because it is not just about their roles at home. In our society today, women are also breaking barriers in every field imaginable, is it in science, politics, business, art, you name it. They are not just pushing boundaries, but challenging the norms, and proving that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
Therefore, we need to celebrate their achievements, courage, and unwavering spirit, so that we can recognize their contributions to the world at large, both big and small. Also, we need to celebrate women everyday because they are powerful, beautiful, and essential as they are the reason for life, the reason for hope, and the very reason for love, in fact they are an epitome of love.

Mother's Day is indeed a special day set aside to celebrate moms and motherhood, although for me everyday is a mother's day. This day is set aside for us to show appreciation for all the hard work, love, and sacrifices that mothers make, making a day for us to express our gratitude for their presence in our lives and acknowledge their impact on who we are.
It is a day the entire world has set aside to say a big "thank you" to all the moms out there and it is a special day for families to come together, show their love, and make our moms feel special, and it is not just about our biological mothers alone, but to celebrate all the motherly figures in our lives, such as our grandmothers, aunts, stepmothers, foster mothers, and even close friends who have played a motherly role.
While it is a day for us to celebrate all moms, it is also a day for us to reflect on the importance of motherhood and the incredible impact mothers have on our lives.

Currently, there are two special women in my life my mom and my sister. They are two of the most important people in my life, and I don't know what I had do without them.
My mom is my superhero, because she has always there for me, no matter what. Call me a mummy's boy, I don't care, she is my biggest cheerleader, my confidante, and my rock. By living with my mum, she taught me so much about life, love, and kindness and she has been the one who always has my back, even when I make mistakes, and it is good to know that I can always count on her to be there for me, no matter what.

My sister on the other hand, is my best friend, although she's sometimes jealous of me and my mum because she sometimes feels that mum loves me more. But then, we have been through so much together, from childhood, to teenage drama and now to navigating adulthood. She is the one who knows me better than anyone else and can always make me smile, even when I am trying to be grumpy.
Together, they are my anchor, my support system, and my inspiration, helping to shape who I am today, and I'm so grateful for their love and guidance.
If you could give your mother a special gift, what would that be? How important is that gift? |

If I am to get a special gift for my mum, that would be making her a photo album. Not just any album, but one filled with pictures of us together, throughout the years, not forgetting all those silly childhood photos and ones that carry some of the best moments of us. Well, it is not going to be any fancy, expensive gift, but it would be filled with love and memories, something more like a reminder of all the moments we've shared and the love that binds us together. A gift that shows her how much she means to me, how much I cherish our time together.

Mom,
Wherever you are right now, I hope you know how much I love you. You've been the strongest, kindest, and the most amazing woman I've known. You taught me everything I know about life, love, kindness, and resilience, while always been there for me, through thick and thin, always with a smile no matter the situation we find ourselves.
I must say, I miss you every day, but I know you are always with me everywhere I go, guiding me through life even in my tough moments, not forgetting the warmth you bring that makes me feel loved. Thank you for everything, Mom. I love you more than words can say.

Incredible, if your sister is jealous of you because you're closer to your mom, she has the right to because I'm jealous already. Your mom must be very beautiful in and out, loving and extremely amazing, I mean the short tribute tells a lot.
Anyways, as a man having just 2 women in your life that are already pillars to you, what would become of the 3rd lady on the way? If na me like this na faint I go faint on top your matter ooo. Because if I no make impact just like the other 2, God forbid, guilt and jealousy for finish me.😀

You're really making me blush ☺️. Indeed, my mom is incredible, but then whose mom isn't? I'm so lucky to have her being part of my life. And you're right about the third lady on the way, it's definitely a big responsibility, but I'm sure she will be supportive of me, all I can do is to focus on being the best person I can be, and hopefully, that will be enough for her.
