Why do we fall sick?

Hello friends

Lately I have had some questions in my heart and sometimes I wonder if I can get an answer to them all. Have you ever sat down to think about this too? Why do we fall sick?

Someone just wakes up in the morning and is sick but before they went to bed they were fine. So what went wrong? Other times the person was ok few minutes ago and the next minute you are told they got admitted into the hospital, and they even died.

I thought I have seen all the stress there is to life. But what am going through now shocked me to my bones. The fact that am not hospitalized is a miracle .

Every day for the past 6 months I just wish I can disappear. So many things on my mind trying to meet up with deadlines and all. Responsibilities to handle, work is choking. I find myself not sleeping at night because I have to stay awake to work.

I woke up feeling tired and weak I just took a break to rest and after two days it happened again, I knew what it was and if I didn't take care of it then it would hit me hard. I called my friend and told her what was happening to me and she advised that I take some medicine.

It rained heavily and the cold affected me, I saw myself sneezing. I knew I would fall seriously sick if I didn't do something. On my way back home that day I quickly went to the pharmacy and saw a nurse there.

I explained to the nurse all that happened and she brought out some drugs for me to purchase. I didn't plan to spend such amount of money that day. But I did because if it gets worse I will even spend more than that. Like they said "when you fix a stich fast it won't need to get to the point where you can not fix it".

Am taking my medication and am getting better. And soon I will be active again. But guess what am still thinking why do we fall sick?

Aside bacteria and all those things medical people say, what do you really think makes us fall sick. If you say it is bacterial, how did it enter our body?

I really need answers. I attended a funeral and I got to know that the deceased was sick for a while and I asked my self how did he get sick?

How does our body stay and change? Like those thoughts fills my mind up. Isn't it strange that one minute you are fine and the next you are not?

Well from my observation what makes people fall sick could range from stress and over working ones self like in my case, lack of enough sleep, mosquito bites, exposure to cold and dust, bacteria and fungi, the list goes on and on.

Is it possible for a person to live for as high as 50years without falling sick? Indeed health is wealth. Take care of your health because you will definitely spend more when you don't have it. I will wait for your opinions and thoughts of this topic.

If you have an answer feel free to write me!
Thank you.

Of course I don't have the ultimate answer, but... This idea of healthy (functional) and sick (dysfunctional) is as human as it is wrong. Being ill is just as justified as being healthy. It contributes to balance: to your inner balance, to the big picture... I don't wish anyone to feel unwell. But don't fight it; acceptance and patience are good counsellors. And by the way: yes, it is possible not to fall sick for 50 years or more. I've broken all sorts of bones, but I've never been ill.
