March: Celebration for Women

YES! I think women should be celebrated because, the strength, Value and the beauty that women brings to the world cannot be overemphasized. Women have contributed in numerous fields such as, politics, science, etc. I don't even want to start talking about the roles they are playing as mothers, daughters, friends and more. In short, women are the back bones of our societies and celebrating them is a must!!

Celebrating women is one unique way to appreciate their contributions, their achievements, and to acknowledge the challenges they gave as women. When we celebrate women, we show them how thankful we are for all they do and it also a way of promoting equality, empowering them to reach their potentials etc.

It was Mother's Day last week. Is there anything specific or important about Mother's Day?

Mother's Day is a special day set aside to celebrate, honor, and acknowledge the impacts of mother's in the families, society and the world at large. It also an avenue to recognize and be grateful for the sacrifices and contributions mother's make in the family.

It is a day where people come out in public and massively to express their heartfelt appreciation for their mothers. Traditionally, mother's Day is often celebrated by giving gifts to the mothers, spending quality time together with them and engaging in family meals with mothers specially.

The women in my are my mother (Who we often referred to as madam Comrade) and my three big sisters, Ruth, Patience and Comfort. This are the women I hold so dare and close to my heart.

This four women I mentioned above are so important to me and their importance cannot be overstated at all. I love them with my all🥺❤️, they are my backbone, my strength, my role models and women I highly regards. To the women in my life,, I love you all🥰.

If you could give your mother a special gift, what would that be? How important is that gift?

If I am to give my mother a special it will be a wrapper and our cultural attire. My mother loves traditional and native wears so much, and at the same time, this traditional and native wears fits her so much.

The gift is so important that words won't permit me to express and say it. Gifting my mother a wrapper and our cultural attire is a practical way to show how much I care about her and it will bring so much joy to her life.

Write a short special tribute to your mother, wherever she is, whether late or still alive.

You are selfless, a guiding light in the darkest night, you have the most beautiful and loving heart. You are one woman I will forever be grateful to God for bringing me to this world through you. I love you immensely my Life Giver.

Your love, patience, sacrifice, and devotion is unconditional. You are my constant source of inspiration, strength etc and you will forever be my Beloved Mother. Thanks so much for all the sacrifices, the love, the hope. Your impact in my life has really shaped me to the woman that I am today, I will forever follow your footsteps Mama na.
