My Life as a Student or Worker
"Working hard is very important. You're not going to get anywhere without working extremely hard." – George Lucas
Obviously, I am a worker and not a student. I climbed the workers ladder a long time ago and I tell you it has been amazing. You know, when I was never a student, I kept wishing to be one until I finally became one, then when I became a student, I kept dreaming of when the student phase would be over for me to take the next step.
In life we always aim for more but when we get there, that's the only time we have the taste. I didn't know being a worker comes with loads of responsibilities. Everyone that usually gives me when I was a student literally stopped all because I was a worker. And then it was done on me that being a worker means I have entered the adult hood which much was expected from me.
Being a worker isn't bad at all. I am enjoying it as it stands. It has given me a different mentality from what I used to have. It has exposed me to so many things in life and there are certain heights I have attained in life.
Life is a race and only the steadfast reach the peak. Challenges would always come because there is no life without a challenge. I have faced various challenges as a worker and still I didn't give up because it is never found in my dictionary.
As a worker, I have faced a challenge of spending all my monthly salary on transportation alone and I went home with nothing. I have being a situation where all my workers stole from me and left my business crumbled. My challenges as a worker are numerous but still, I didn't give up because I don't believe in giving up.
My faith! I have built my faith to a certain level so I don't easily shake at the stormy weather, I only stay calm and allow the phase to fade away.
I am also blessed with good friends who would stand by me through these challenges. Challenges in life are mostly our trying times, it is the time when we should stand firm and trust God, it is the time to keep one's hope and faith alive.
Faith is a mind booster and having faith has helped me so much in life.
My worst memory was when flood damaged things in my office, it was a terrible moment in my life. My office was located at a very good spot but unknowingly for me, it was a flood area but no one told me about it.
One week after I opened up my office, flood visited and my office was flooded. It damaged 70% of my furnitures because they were of soft woods.
I cried, I asked why God allowed it to happen to me. I felt like my life was crumbling but I picked up as it was not a human's death. Give or take, in few years time I would replace the lost properties.
I invite @mariami @pandora2010 @aviral123
Hello, dear!
Having 70% of your furniture damaged by a flood is heartbreaking because I experienced it at home, so I understand why you cried and asked God that question. The good things continued and overcame the obstacles.
Thank you for the invitation.
Many blessings... 🙏🏻
It was the most challenging moment of my life. Thank you so much!

I love the part you said being a worker isn't bad at all and that you've benefited a lot than what you've lost in struggling and trying to keep up. Thanks for sharing but I would have loved to see a picture of you in your workplace for evidence sake 😁....
